  1. Sat back and done nothing for 30 minutes and then we gift them a goal. Diabolical.
  2. Scrappy start from us.
  3. Gotta good feeling about today, think we will win comfortably.
  4. hopefully Martina is nowhere near the side tomorrow. Cedric being back has shown the gulf in class between the two of them.
  5. Much, Much better. We actually looked a threat going forward and created some good chances. Every single player (bar Redmond who I thought was poor) put in a good shift today, and VVD, Sims, Soares and Hojbjerg were my stand outs. Ward-Prowse missed a sitter, but apart from that, I thought he had a good game as well. Lets not rotate too much and look to have a good go at what will probably be a weakened Arsenal on Wednesday.
  6. We are playing the long ball up to Austin and he is ****ed.. We need Long or even Rodriguez to stretch them a bit,
  7. **** off Stekelenburg.. Never made saves for us like that..
  8. I'd get Long on for Sims or Redmond, Fresh legs and all that.
  9. Hojbjerg has played well today, and the difference between Cedric and Martina is insurmountable, they are leagues apart.
  10. Ward-Prowse has started well. Involved a lot.
  11. Great start, actually attacking with pace and looking to get the ball forward quickly for once.
  12. Why is this guy always allowed to circumnavigate the swear filter? Poses the question as to why have the swear filter in the first place.
  13. As per usual this season, toothless, pathetic and insipid. . We have developed a team which plays to our managers characteristics. It's not good enough and we are playing far too many games now without looking like scoring, or even troubling the opposition. I am starting to question the appointment of Puel and whether he is the man to take this club forward.
  14. Starting to lose faith with Puel. The team has become a shadow of his leadership, dull, insipid and without character.
  15. Great work from Rodriguez, passes to Redmond given away cheaply.
  16. Redmond has been quite poor today at holding onto the ball.
  17. Long on for Boufal
  18. great chance for Austin from a delightful Cedric cross.
  19. Good to have Cedric back
  20. Did you want the daily echo to do a full page spread saying you are going and in turn that will help drum up ticket sales ?
  21. Actually joint 5th in goals conceded. With Middlesbrough and Man United.
  22. In the last 6 games we have now conceded a goal from the oppositions first shot on target( and in many cases the only shot on target in the match). On some occasions like today and last Sunday we have conceded from the first two shots on target.. This is getting a bit worrying for me as a keeper is in the side to make saves and this is something Forster seems to struggle to do( one clean sheet in 13 home games now) This inability to keep any opposition shots out and the lack of cutting edge up front is the reason we are going to be in a mid-lower table scrap this season. If McCarthy wasn't injured, I'd be pushing for him to start for a while.
  23. Agree.
  24. Where to start. Such a disappointing result which is a microcosm of our season so far. So much of the ball, but did so little with it. 1-0 up cruising and playing a team forced into two changes, woefully short of confidence, yet we showed little desire to get a second, seemingly content playing keep ball in our half to no avail. Then yet again we manage shoot ourselves in the foot and gift Hull a way back to a game. We have a keeper who doesn't make saves right now for whatever reason. (Hull 2 shots on target, 2 goals), an insipid midfield pairing in Davis and Clasie who seem lost in the opposition third, offering zero creativity and zero goal threat. Couple that with an ineffective Redmond and an out of form Tadic and it's going to be a long season, where it's going to be a struggle to create and to finish those chances. Interestingly Boufal was originally named in the starting line up, but Puel changed his mind, can't help but think a bit more of the unpredictable creative option might have helped in a game like this.
