as a critic of Adkins in recent weeks, I must say that the first half performance was superb, hope we can stay on top and get a much needed win.

Why? Adkins had the whole summer to sort out the defence and did nothing about it, what makes you think January will be any different?

Not good enough. Adkins showed his mettle today by his bizarre decision to bring on Fox after they had just equalised. Time for him to walk and hope that somebody else can come in and get them defending. Also not impressed with gazzaniga to be honest, seems to be a lovefest on here for him, but I can hardly remember him making a save in the games he has been in goal. Boruc next week please.

I agree about Adkins. He isn't the man to take us forward. I don't even mind him resting some players but at least have a bit of quality on the bench, even United do that in this cup. Absolute joke.

Time for Adkins to go. Nice man, but out of his depth in the premier league so far. We are not competitive enough at this level. Some baffling tactical decisions and a overwhelming failure to address our centre back issue over the summer will lead to his demise I feel.
