As I have said previously already this season, the abject failure to address the goalkeeping position and centre back position and our generally naivety in our defensive play, means we are going to struggle to keep clean sheets this season, which therefore means a struggle to win games. Fonte still looks a liability and I fear that all of our enterprising attacking play is going to end up being undone by a calamitous defence.

Why spend money all that money on Rodriguez and then shove him out of position on the left wing where he is totally ineffectual? Why have weyet to sign a centre back when its been glaringly obvious to all but the deluded few that we need one? Boys against Men today and it's going to be a long hard season unless we can sign 5 or 6 quality players in the next week.
