  1. no,for a club with ambition and a squad lik ours,in our position, its a bad result. if Burnley were on top of the PL after 5 rounds, would Man Utd be satisfied with a draw against them ? no. you cant base the definition of a good result as simply "top side versus bottom side". following that logic, the team at bottom after the first match, would be satisfied with not winning a single match all season-after all they are facing opposition above them every game. its just as the last game in our relegation season. a draw versus Man utd wouldnt be a good result there,it would be just as disastrous as the loss was ! you`d have to be a complete retard not considering circumstances besides position on the table when judging how good a result is.
  2. its not negativity, you gimp ! I`m positive we can get a better result, therefore IMO we should go for the win. interesting to see that you interpreted my ambiguous statement as negative. maybe it is you who are the guilty part regarding "pointless negative stupidity" ?
  3. fight fire with fire,FFS.. put on Holmes and Papa and ATTACK ! anything but just roll over and die, like we usually do.
  4. no it wont. in our situasion only wins will be good !
  5. much better than I expected,thats for sure. I`m pleasantly surprised !
  6. Great goal Lallana:D come on SAINTS !!
  7. I predicted a win before I saw the line-up. and despite the team selection I still think we can do it. having said that,I reserve my right to complain about anything related to the match. this IS the right thread, and you are just very confused,right..? ..and an advice for future interaction on the web: if you quote someone, they normally think you are addressing them. thanks.
  8. maybe not, judging by what he has shown so far ! I must say you are very,VERY brave being ****y when it comes to Saints chances of proving a negative prediction wrong thanks for the update, allthough I do also listen.
  9. what a boring, defensive line up. it seems a respectable 0-1 loss is Pardews aim ! *yawn*
  10. Great news ! We`ll win on saturday.
  11. I think that has a lot to do with increasing grip/traction from the shoes. if the foot is stuck to the ground, its bound to be twisted on quick turns etc. have done my right ACL twice myself ! with modern technology, they actually say the reconstructed ligament should be 10 % stronger than the original one. what takes time,is to train up all the supporting muscles and tissue...thats a boring process aswell !
  12. why is it so hard for you to just state your opinion, without the irony and plain silly sentences ? this isnt a kindergarten,so please save those moronic and childish posts of yours for the muppet show. okey? you must be one dumb hillbilly to don`t even see the slightest hint of hypocrisy when you moan and complain about those who complain about the team. at least these people do their complaining on a level suited for grown-ups. personally I think you are just envious, feeling dethroned from your position as Main Moaner for SFC over the last three seasons..!
  13. Did you miss my "IF" deliberately,or do you just have an abnormally big blindspot on your Retinas..?
  14. shouldnt be hard at all to find. in this division alone there must be at least a dusin players who fits that bill, and we showed with Lambert that any players in this league isnt out of our reach. identify player, pay club £ 1 million, offer player big contract...sorted !
  15. quite right. Alan: we want WINGERS !
  16. You dont have to be a genious to figure it out this time, unlike some of your ridicolous comments after other matches.
  17. I think the moaning has more to do with the way we lost, dont you ? there seems to be more work ahead of us than I had Imagined, thats for sure.to be totally battered by Huddersfield is not what i expected,TBF. still,if someone had offered me 0ne point from our two first games,I`d probably taken it. tough opposition n`all.
  18. agree. Saga/paterson should have replaced Rasiak at around 60 minutes, for better workrate. defending starts with the strikers !
  19. thats a given: no-one from todays bench,and hoped/settled for a lucky draw.
  20. why Melis was brought in today,is a mistery to me. we got steamrollered even more after his introduction. we needed someone to win the ball at midfield, and thats not something one can expect from a 18 year old without experience ! poor managing.Melis should have been introducted when we are in control of a game (if that ever happens),or at home versus poor opposition.
  21. IMO,the whole midfield needs to be replaced. neither of ours are good enough/adjusted/capable to play in league 1. we need two wingers with some pace and decent crosses, and two hard CMs who can win the ball AND pass it to the aforementioned wingers !
  22. if I were Liebherr,I`d give Camara £ 50.000 a week to get him here. a small price to pay for auto promotion ! he would create havoc in this league, but unfortunately I think he is too good to consider joining us at this level.
  23. Lallana and Schneiderlin in CM? maybe against Wycombe at home.. I dont know what Pardew thinks,I`m just giving the reasons for my concerns.
  24. ofcourse he is better than Wotton, who isnt ? but not more experienced. besides I think either Wotton or Gillett will play every game anyway. I dont see Schneiderlin and Melis as being our CM`s in this division, wee need someone with a more defensive mindset for most games. Melis wont compete with Wotton for a place in the team,so it doesnt matter if Melis is better !
  25. yeah,I hope so. but Gobern,Thompson and White are decent attacking midfielders too, great prospects. If he is just marginally better,I think we would be better off playing one of them instead. If the new guy is very good,however..then my concerns are unfounded ! time will tell,I guess.
