Probably explains why the players don't seem bothered by relegation then.....

Another complete non performance from Hoj today.

I don't think we are much better. We've had three different managers with the same players and there has been little or no improvement in the players which tells a story I think.

We can't thanks to our ****e recruitment we have a defence that needs a ton of protection just to keep the score respectable. If we go for it we still won't score (because our forward line is also ****e) but we will let in a cricket score at the other end. Hughes game plan every game is to try and protect our fragile defence and hope we nick one at the other end.

We are ordinary. We look like a hard working, but limited, lower league side just trying to keep the score respectable while being totally outclassed by a PL side....

That's the last bit of joy sucked out of the season then just a few games to complete the inevitable relegation left

yes but not with the local fans who support their local club. Much as it is easy to dislike the big clubs and deride all their fans as JCL plastics its not really the case they do have genuine local fans to who I'm pretty sure wouldn't enjoy (or be able to afford) home games in Bangkok or away games across Europe every fortnight. Of course its debatable whether the big clubs, FA's, TV companies agents and players would give two ****s about that as they were raking in the money of a European super league.

I imagine the cost of away days to Madrid and Munich and some home games having to be played in SE Asia, USA and the Gulf States might also put off your average fan to.

No he isn't if anything he is an average player who gets a bit of a free pass from fans because he talks a good game in interviews.

Ah that's a subtle interpretation first team for me is first 11. Not good enough for our 25 man squad? yeah he probably is (not that's hard given the state of it) but in that case he would surely be there knowing he was second (possibly third choice behind McQueen) hence why Targett requested a loan move.

So you would have played him ahead of Bertrand then. If one person on here wants to tell me Matt Targett is better than Ryan Bertrand I will happily laugh in their face.

So 18 months of poor performances under three different managers the only constant is the players.... At least people might start to realise this isn't some top seven squad just being poorly managed but in fact a squad chocked full of averageness and dross. Two years of **** poor recruitment has wrecked the squad. As for Hughes the board put themselves in a position were he was the only realistic option. With more time he might have just about done enough to keep us up but in reality with this squad and the games he had left he was on a hiding to nothing anyway. We are as good as down hopefully the summer will see a big clear out and changes at several levels to create a squad and management capable of getting promotion.

In fairness they should have won that game at a canter we were shyte.

Weirdly I'm the opposite. In my mind we were down after we failed to get a point against Newcastle or West ham. So now I'm resigned to relegation and pretty chilled about the whole thing. These last few games are just a chance to get kicked in the nut sack few more times before we start a new season in the championship.

At least our defence will have improved then...
