He showed how important he is against Liverpool despite our makeshift defence with Romeu in front they looked good. Fast forward a few days and Romeu's current backup in Reed gave all the protection of a wet paper bag against Arsenal. All the CBs in the world won't help if Romeu gets injured for any length of time. The fact is despite everything we still have three fit CBs that can do a job with a good DM in front of them and one fit DM of any note.

Being in a position to replace him isn't technically the same thing as replacing him though I'm sure Les figured everyone would infer that's what it meant. Always take club spin with a pinch of salt imo.

You say this like its a change from the norm modern day football fans spend 90% of their lives in a ****ed off state about 90% of stuff that happens at their clubs it seems...

Generally in these sort of spats both sides convince themselves they are in the right haven't, done anything wrong and the other side is to blame for everything the truth is probably somewhere in the middle.

I'm glad to hear that we are not like other clubs. Players throwing hissy fits only happens at other clubs like WHU and Leicester thank goodness.
