JWP goal was a cut back to player on the edge of the box. Jrods and the disallowed goal where from set pieces and we always throw players up in those situations. The pen came from a through ball. I'm quite happy for us to get more bodies in the box when we cross and we did yesterday which is good but it didn't make any difference to the goals we scored yesterday.

Only problem being Liverpool no doubt we will only come back with half a squad after the tournament...

I thought it was interesting that some Leicester fans think that by giving those players big contracts to stop them leaving (something saints fans have suggested) those same players have now lost the motivation they had to succeed before. Can't say if its true or not but thought it was interesting anyway.

We didn't score from any crosses into the box though (unless you try to count JWPs free kick) so that really didn't make a difference today.

Exactly replacing Fonte isn't about weather Yoshida is good enough or not its simple mathematics of having only two senior CBs and an under 23s CB. Gardos isn't even worth considering IMO. So we need another CB (even a 1/2 season loan would do I reckon)

Not sure what game you watching I've not been a fan of JWP recently but even without the goal he had a good game today tackling, passing and looking to get forward in support of the attack were all much better than he has produced most of this season.

Which one he had about four bad misses today.

Did ok looked solid enough probably not the most testing game he will ever have but Vardy can always be a threat and he dealt with it.

Very much so It looked just like many of our home games this season the big difference being we actually scored and Leicester look even worse than us at shooting.

Yoshida was very good today and stepped up when VVD limped off. I have no idea if he can perform like that every week but he was my MOTM today he has clearly improved this season.
