Depends of the sanctions though doesn't it? I'm pretty sure the likes of Man city flaunted the rules in the past and just lived with the consequence (wasn't it a reduced squad in the CL or something) I cant think of any club who has been hit with anything really nasty on breaching FFP. Not that I want money throwing owners in particular anyway. I'm more than happy with the current owners.

Pretty much if new owners came in kept the set up and bunged loads of extra cash in happy days. Of course we could just as easily see Les sacked and the new owners son in law taking control, while throwing stupid money at some has been name players and Sven-Göran Eriksson as our new manager.....

So even with our new mega rich Chinese owners we still can't afford players like Bolasie and Benteke.....Pants

Why wouldn't they? If they sold a third of the club (at a third of its 200 million value) they'd make a tidy profit on Markus's investment, get someone else in to help fund the costs of the club and still retain a controlling share in Markus's legacy. Meanwhile the Chinese investors get the kudos of being part owners of the greatest football club on earth...

Investment wouldn't be so bad I'd like the Liebherrs to continue to own the controlling share of club because I trust them to do what's right for the club.

Has any club had good Chinese owners? Inter got taken over in the summer and will be on their third manager since August. Personally I'm very happy with the current owners we are very lucky to have them. I'd rather stick than twist if I'm honest.

Don't know I thought he came off because of a clash of heads would expect to see him back now.

The idea that saints fans are in some way worse than other PL fans is pretty erroneous. Like I said the Chelsea fans spent half the game against us singing about Frank Lampard I can imagine the reaction on here if we spent half the game singing the Rickie Lambert song. The Chelsea fans were loud but their songs where worse than ours. Every set of away fans at sms bring the same old tired **** when it comes to songs.

The Chelsea fans were noisy but the majority of their noise was just chanting Chelseeeeaaaa over and over again or singing about Super Frankie Lampard endlessly. There wasn't really much variety they were just good at keeping it going. There is very little song variety from any of the away fans that come to SMS these days most teams have one special song chant and then just sing they same crap as everyone.....is there a fire drill is? Being the ****est most unoriginal of the lot.

Only place I think we are a little lacking is behind Romeu. We have Reed (who in fairness has been good in both cup games) but weather he is good enough if Romeu is out for a prolonged time I'm not so sure. So a decent holding midfielder....no idea who that I though.
