A bit late though and the damage has already been done even Rafa is going to have trouble turn Newcastle's defenders into something solid (put it this way Yoshida would be the first name on the team sheet at Newcastle with regards to defenders). Buying Pl proven players is going to be nigh on impossible with the increase in money in the PL. Even mid table sides will be able to offer obscene wages and PL clubs will only sell to rival PL teams for massively over inflated prices. Most teams will look else where in the world for players IMO.

I don't think Stoke, WHU or Liverpool are after Yoshida TBH...... Joking aside I don't think a lot of fans realise how lack of game time effects players people just expect players to start playing after weeks of little or no game time and be top of their game.

Didn't he sign a new contract pretty recently? I can't see him going anytime soon unless a newly promoted side offer over the odds for him and guarantee him 1st team football.
