The way he describes doing the gym sessions with the academy boys makes him sound like a fan of British meat to me.......

Yep I saw that Matt Ritchie one today as well ?

Depends if the club re-invests it in good players I suppose. My guess is that no amount of money would make the club sell in January as it will affect the rest of the season and possibly harm future recruitment(higher up the table and Europe is more attractive than lower table). Next summer we will have Victor to cash in on and Mane won't be worth much less so those two will be sold and hopefully the squad will be strengthened again with 3-4 quality players.

Well this made me LOL Labour MP Simon Danczuk ‘withdrew from China trip after refusing to fly economy’ http://www.standard.co.uk/news/politics/labour-mp-simon-danczuk-withdrew-from-china-trip-after-refusing-to-fly-economy-a3110891.html

Let's be fair Wes if other teams "learn their lesson" and stopping paying massive amounts of money for our players the clubs business model will be pretty redundant.
-
So just to sum up Man U are planning to buy Pelle, Mane, Perez and Mahrez in January? I wonder how much that lot will set them back ?
-
It's not weird it's just because most saints fans have now come to terms with our position in the world of football after the last two summers. Any player in the red and white that looks even half decent will be off so the only thing that helps us get over the pain is seeing then go for loads of cash.
-
Hardly a state secret if loads of saints fans already know do you think it would take a criminal long to work it out? It's common knowledge in Winchester where the saints player live.
-
And Ayoze Perez from Newcastle as well apparently http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/manchester-united/11984184/Manchester-United-consider-January-move-for-Newcastle-striker-Ayoze-Perez.html Manchester United are interested in signing Newcastle United striker Ayoze Perez and could bid for the Spaniard in January. Perez is also being watched by the likes of Tottenham and Arsenal, but United are thought to be keenest on the 22-year-old and have been monitoring his progress since he joined Newcastle from Tenerife last year.

The only way I could see us selling in Jan is if we already had a replacement in place ready to transfer in on the 1st of Jan. To be honest considering how adamant Koeman was about keeping Mane in the summer I'd be surprised if he was happy to see him leave four months later.
-
Assuming it was a four year contract about two and half years. Next summer would be the optimal time to cash in on him. Despite the rumours I can't see us selling him January.
-
Winchester on Chilbolton Ave ...l believe. Near to Pelle and Steven Davis.
-
Nice summing up of Man U's whole philosophy on football these days
-
If we just want someone fast who doesn't score many we might as well just play Shane Long....
-
I really can't see us selling in January. I mean I know we are a selling club but apart from Jack Cork we don't sell players in January it's to disruptive to the team mid season........come the summer I'm sure it will be game on with Man U being made to pay through the nose to acquire Mr Mane
-
If he wants speed has he not thought about signing Jonno Quick.....
-
Vardy is off to real Madrid isn't he http://metro.co.uk/2015/10/25/real-madrid-identify-leicester-city-forward-jamie-vardy-as-the-perfect-january-transfer-target-report-5460652/ Real Madrid are interested in a January transfer move for Leicester City forward Jamie Vardy, according to reports in Spain. The Spanish giants are set to enter the market for a new forward and Vardy’s form has not escaped their attention.

OK then you beacons of positivity. We will ****ing destroy all opposition teams in the next 6 games 18 points here we come........................that better:D
-
yep that's just what I said
-
ermm because they are both better teams than us. Of course we might get a result but the balance of probability is we won't.
-
Stoke and Villa at home should be wins (Stoke away is a different prospect). Think we will struggle to get anything out of Arsenal, Spurs or Man city and I's settle for a point away to a decent Palace side. ermmmm 7 pts out 18 don't sound to good
-
No I want Chelsea to get relegated followed by Roman Abramovich throwing a hissy fit, stripping the club of every saleable asset, then demanding immediate repayment of all his loans and then flogging the club to fans group for a £1 before they tumble through the divisions and into administration....................well one can dream
-
I think Spurs and Liverpool have already started making it known they want Vardy to the scumbag press http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2582393-liverpool-transfer-news-latest-on-jamie-vardy-rumours I await Vardy's transfer request in January while spurs put in a ridiculously low bid.....
-
Listening to Talksport earlier (yeah I know) and Collymore (yeah I know) was talking to a London jurno about how Poch has trimmed his squad back to a core of about fifteen players and weather as the season goes on, considering the high energy levels poch's style of football involves, Spurs could keep up the current form once injuries, suspensions and fatigue kicks in. TBF Spurs are doing well and with Chelsea's issues they will never have a better chance of top four....though I'd rather see Leicester (or even WHU) nick 4th than spurs.

Villa looking to get an unlikely point against citeh?
