According to Adam Blackmore on Solent today allegedly Koeman told him that when he plays Mane out on the right he doesn't trust him to defend so he plays Yoshida because Cedric is left to exposed by Mane.
-
Defensively Yoshida was fine today but Cedric would have given us another attacking option against team barely able to get out of their own half.
-
Like they do every game.....
-
Looks decent from what I've seen of him probably could have gone to a better team.
-
Might have to play it on the deck then rather than aim for Pelle's head all game.

Cedric in the top 10 best tacklers in the PL (so far)

I wouldn't even call him that. He cost us £2 million which is chicken feed in todays transfer market and bought him with Europe in mind. I'd say it was decent forward planning only ruined by going out to Danish Champions FC Nonleaguestandard so early makes it look like a slightly odd signing. -

Well he clearly wasn't a replacement for anyone was he? Martina cost less than your average Championship player and was most likely added for a bit of squad depth, if we had progressed in the Europa league, and because Erwin had managed him before. As we crashed out of Europe early and don't have a load of extra games there probably isn't much place for him in the squad. -

I think that's been a general theme for new players who have been seen as replacements for leavers. Twenty minutes into their first game and people are off on the old "Well he is no (insert left players name of choice)is he?". It's like some people can't get their head around the idea that a new player might need time to settle. -
Sunderland manager Sam Allardyce: "We have got to learn the lessons of going gung-ho. That's what we did (in last week's 6-2 defeat at Everton) - we said, we'll go and win it, and we've got to be more responsible. "We're not in a position where we have to win our next game - we are more in a position where we must not lose it. "If we get a point then we should respect it, because another point after that will eventually lead to a win and that breeds confidence. "If you continue to go for a win and end up losing, then you're in a pickle." Sounds like Big Sam's boys are going to sit back and play for the 0-0 draw to me.

I think so as long as everyone just ignored them. Easier said then done of course if you live in a powder keg area. I always got the feeling that EDL want to come across as a legitimate orginaziton and want others to confront them so they can kick off while looking like the injured party.
-
So you'd rather flush money down the loo than give it to the club you profess to support? Clubs got to pay for all the quality players the supporters demand I'm shocked you don't want to help out with another £25 a year to help Tadic by a new sports car.......
-
Yep just says you have priority over non members.

I think Ronald has big plans for Claise so I expect he will start every game he is fit. That leaves JWP and Romeau battling it out to be Victor's replacement tomorrow IMO.
-
The only chance JWP has of getting in the starting 11 is if Ronald thinks he would be a better replacement for Victor than Romeau which I think is unlikely. No way should we be dropping a inform Davis or Tadic who are providing assists and goals right now just so JWP can take a couple of corners.

Aren't the two types of trouble different though when the EDL/BNP march the violence is usually between them and people who take offence to their views turning up to shout the right wingers down. When the anti capitalists march the trouble is more about them trying to smash up the establishment (or MacDonalds) and pick fights with police (as the ultimate symbol of the establishment). In other words if the EDL where just left to march and shout their hate in peace (i.e. ignore the bigots) their marches would probably be trouble free. If you ignore the anti capitalists they'll just smash property up anyway as part of the struggle against oppression.

I'm pretty sure the club have said, only recently, there will be no expansion of SMS in the foreseeable future they point to a lack of sell outs making an expansion economically unviable.

From my experience I'd say the majority of students are apolitical...more interested in beer.

A question for black players surely? Do we know they actually want to be managers? How many of them have tried to get into management? Managers are sacked for lack of results not the colour of their skin. The fact that so many clubs are happy to employ black players would suggest they are overly concerned with race I'd say.

ermmm only if those shots on goal become goals;)

Fair play at least charge him pay to view or something on a webcam.

can I just say...................errrrr...............................WTF
-
No I'm just saying if I was a copper dealing with a disturbance at a rally and had the choice of getting into a ruck with this or this I'd choose the former
-
I imagine the police were happy I'm sure they'd rather face off with some angry students than a load of angry ex marines.......
