  1. They scraped past a **** poor villa side with only 10 men ...yes clearly a PL force
  2. I thought Vardy looked pretty quick when was terrorising Man U.
  3. Ronald Koeman: This is your last chance. After this, there is no turning back. You take the blue pill Bearsy - the story ends, you wake up in your bed and Pompey are PL. You take the red pill Bearsy - you stay in Wonderland and I show you how deep the rabbits-hole goes*. * actually that last bit is gross I never condone having sex with animals
  4. If we are as good as we think we are this has got to be 3pts. Not to bothered about Pearson was hardly at saints for two minutes. I'm really hopping Hammond gets to play though he is an ex player I have a lot of time for.
  5. I never understood why Liverpool wanted Rickie he was the total opposite of the sort of forwards they played with last season. He could have done a good job for a lot of lower to mid-table PL sides it's sad to see his career going out with a whimper like this.
  6. Depends on injuries to our team. There are some players which we don't have great cover for Pelle, Morgan and Forster come to mind lose them and we have problems. It's hard not to get a bit excited at the moment, with the way things are going, but there is still such a long way to go. Whether saints can sustain their current form all season and the bigger league sides can carry on being poor all season is the key. I still can't help feeling Man U, arsenal and Man city will get their sh it together soon and we will have another drop in form like we did last season. I'm not sure Liverpool, Everton or spurs will come good this season though so I'm starting to think we have a shot at top six which would be pretty amazing in the end though what I real want is a cup.
  7. I have to admit to lurking on a few forums for other PL teams what I've concluded from this is we aren't actually doing very well but have a combination of the following 1) we're jammy 2) we haven't actually played anyone good yet 3) it's all going to go tits up because our players aren't that good 4) the refs are all on our side 5) when we play other teams they have an off week
  8. From the radio it sounded like we were below par and got a bit of luck today. Still it's that old cliché a good team is one that wins even when they are having an off day. Team sounded a bit tired but I guess two physical games against Stoke will do that to a team. Defence sounded superb today real bodies on the line stuff. Happy days
  9. OK MLG you win..
  10. True but so far Ronald has been straight up about injuries I don't think it's his style not to be honest not like the good old day when Nigel wouldn't tell us anything about players.
  11. According to the BBC Winger Sadio Mane is Saints' only fresh injury doubt, having missed Wednesday's League Cup win with an ankle problem.
  12. For a guy he came from non-league football, rather than the academy system, he has had a decent career so far Wembley cup final and played for Saints, Sheffield Wednesday and Notts Forest all decent sized clubs. Forest have gone of the boil a bit now but he still might make it to the PL with them.
  13. Seem to remember this guy wanting out as soon as we were relegated must have got a bit of a rep as well
  14. Feeling a bit bored tonight so was looking around the bbc football checking out the lower leagues spotted a few Saints old boys I see Michail Antonio is ranked third in the championship top scorers table with seven league goals, for Notts Forest, this season Jonathan Forte now plays for Oldham and is leagues ones second highest scorer with 11 goals this season Finally Lee Barnard has now been loaned out from Southend to Stevenage having scored 1 goal this season Barnard's career has really gone down the pan since leaving us never thought Jonno quick would be better than Lee Barnard. Good to see Antonio doing well always thought he was better than some people gave him credit for.
  15. There seems to be a lack of good ones best I've found is the hull page on Not 606 http://www.not606.com/forumdisplay.php/41-Hull-City
  16. I doubt any PL teams would take a punt at his age but the Italian league doesn't seem to mind the older players must be the slower pace of the game over there
  17. Last game was 0-0 Hull are only one of two sides this season who couldn't put a goal past Lovern and Liverpool's joke of a defence.........
  18. Well **** it if we have to give Pelle's goals to Hull then we're having costa's goals from Chelsea and Chelsea can have Ballotelli's goals from Liverpool I bet the whole PL would look different . Wheres NickG with a useful chart of how the PL would look if all the teams gave each other their goals scored this season
  19. I can't believe how many people think a draw or a loss is likely. This Hull people a team we hammered twice last season, we're on an amazing run of form, confidence among the players should be high, Ronald knows what he is about and by all accounts Hull have quite a few injury concerns this game should be very winnable.
  20. The weird thing is that if you read the words he has been pretty complimentary the last few weeks "Good team, scoring goals blah blah" and then seems to predict a loss on the basis we're due one some time. Bet he never says that about chelsea;)
  21. odd mad moment? I use to **** myself every time Boruc got near the ball last season. In the games I've seen at SMS so far Forster has been excellent at coming for balls in his box. He isn't perfect he was certainly dodgy at spurs and not great last night but as yet he hasn't had any major cocks up that have cost us points unlike Boruc last season.
  22. League cup highlights show on the BBC I-player now saints game starts on about 13 minutes http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b04ncvh7/the-league-cup-show-20142015-29102014
  23. Why not? proper tough games in a few weeks I like as many points on the board as possible before then.
