Weird isn't it I was the Itchen North yesterday didn't here anything coming from the Northam at all second half guess it's just the way the grounds built.

Battle of two ex saints managers one gave me a day out at Wembley I will never forgot the other gave me eighth in the PL before starting a mass exodus....I know which one I wanted to win.

really I know all the good players left () but what the hell happened to the team over the summer they could all control a ball before poch left couldn't they?

I was in block 1 yesterday we gave it a ****ing good go second half got OWTS going for about 15 minutes, tried a few other chants/songs to though not as successfully, which I thought was pretty good for us the nipper loved it spent most of his saints supporting life in the Chapel so this was a new experience for him.

Did we just get Sunshine blown up our backside.....

biggest issue would be Pelle. He is a big part of our playing style at the moment and there is no back up there Long can do a job up front but I think it would involve a change in style to get the best out of him. -
West ham obsessed with us? And stoke reaction to our team/season
doddisalegend replied to Saint86's topic in The Saints
The big problem with westham (other than some deluded fans but show me a club that doesn't have those) was the horrible brand of anti-football they've been playing the last few seasons even the fans and owners got fed up with it which is why big Sam's job was on the line in the summer. Credit where credit is due they got in some good signings in, have made some changes to their playing style, and are reaping the rewards. I think it would be great for the PL if saints and WHU could break the top six and shake things up I doubt it will happen TBH but it would be good -
Saints swoop for 14-year old defender

It would be interesting to know what percentage of boys in our academy actually go on to make 1st team appearances for saints. I suspect we are much better than most clubs but there also seem to be a hell of a lot who's name gets mentioned at youth level that then never go any further. -
Cup every time a day out at Wembely beats the crap out of finishing 7th/8th which is our likely position come the end of the season . Also we could lose this weekend and still stay third(bar a massive goal difference swing) if we lose the cup game that's it.

Pay for the tickets...........

Which was rather cancelled out by stupid **** like the stoke goal and deciding he was a midfield maestro in his own 6 yard box.......

Seems they're none to keen on Ronald's view of their team http://oatcakefanzine.proboards.com/thread/235997/koeman-on-tomorrow I didn't realise that Hughes had them playing like the Barca of the North these days...........

That can't be right what will Irene say.........

Some interesting stats from the BBC pre match article The Saints have the best penalty record of any team in the Premier League (53 taken, 51 scored). No player has conceded more penalties since the start of the 2008-09 season than Ryan Shawcross (seven). Fraser Forster has the best saves to shots ratio of any first-choice goalkeeper in the top flight in 2014-15 (75%). Asmir Begovic has the lowest saves to shots ratio (53%) of any first-choice goalkeeper this season in the Premier League.

I'd go every week but at the end of the day no matter how well saints are doing if my daughter has a school trip to pay for, my son needs new football boots and the washing machine is on the blink again (or which ever domestic drains on your cash you want to apply) they end up coming first over an afternoon of football I'm sure I'm not the only one this applies to. As it happens this month I have managed to scrap together the cash for me and No.1 son to go to SMS I offered him the choice of Sunderland or Stoke he choose the Stoke game because the Sunderland game would be crap:x

Well after predicting a close 1-1 draw last week. This week Lawro has predicted another close 1-1 draw lets hope it has the same result as last week:D Southampton's 8-0 win over Sunderland last week was a great achievement but a freak result, and I have never seen a team capitulate as easily as the Black Cats did. By the end, they were a rabble. Stoke, meanwhile, were a bit too cute for Swansea - and I am not talking about the penalty that provided the Potters with their equaliser. There is no doubt that the referee got that decision massively wrong. There is no way Saints will score eight against Mark Hughes' side - they have only conceded nine all season and have the best defensive record in the Premier League outside the top three. This one will be a lot closer, and I can see Stoke leaving with a point. Lawro's prediction: 1-1 Mark and Karen's prediction: 2-2

I think it's fair to say it's both

I'm disappointed Real didn't put Liverpool to the sword second half

In fairness he replaced a player doing a good impression of a statue so anyone would be an improvement....
