I took it as I can't wait to meet the new manager to tell him to get on and sort out my move to Liverpool....

yeah a great shame Did we even make an approach for either of those two.

I know half the stories are probably bull**** but Liverpool seem to have some sort of scattergun approach this season........ throw enough offers of interest around and hopefully you'll end up with someone before the new season starts. Rumours were pool had about 40 million to spend (compare that to Man Us supposed 150 million) which in the current climate isn't going to get you much bang for your buck unless you can find a hidden gem. Really don't think they have the financial clout to actually prize Adam and Dejan away from us right now.

At least they've employed a top coach with bags of experience to get them through..........oops

Interestingly I've looked on a few spurs sites and there has been no mention of us or the manager situation....I think we are to small of a club to register on the minds of fans of the mighty spurs:cry:

Didn't he win the Copa del Rey with them? I guess different clubs with very different ambitions but I can't imagine hating any manager who won the FA cup for saints. I still have Pardew down as a bit of a legend for winning the god damn JPT.

Cheers for the info Guan Despite a few wet blankets threatening not to buy a ST or god forbid ask for a refund I can't help thinking lower ST sales are more to do with price than what has gone on the last few weeks. Football is just becoming to bloody expensive for most people I think.

After reading this bit I think Rickie Lambert jumped ship to soon sounds like RL would have fitted in perfectly to RKs style. He placed a big Italian striker Graziano Pelle into the middle of the park and let the wingers bang crosses in for him. He likes using pace so look for him to bring through some speed to the Southampton attack.’

It's more to do with the (perceived) way he is trying to get a move with leaks to the press and trying to pressure a move without handing in a transfer request. Compare him to Rickie Lambert and the way he handled his move to Liverpool with no fuss and a lot of respect for the club. Like I said perceptions. Same with mopo really there was just a feeling he had been rather underhanded about the whole move to Spurs that doesn't sit well.

Hasn't he won some sort of Silverware at five of the seven clubs he has managed (even Valencia were everyone says he was ****)? What sort of successful management career where you hoping for from our new manager?
