  1. LOL never seen that thanks..........
  2. Personally I think it's better not to rattle the trolls cage in the name of one up manship (I should stress I don't think this thread is one of those).
  3. Knee I think. If I remember the article properly he said he could play but he couldn't train on it properly meaning that his fitness was lacking meaning he was blowing through his arse in a lot of games. Which some of us (including me) mistook as not trying very hard.
  4. I think alot of us were a bit, although I (and others I'd guess) never realised how much his injury was effecting him until I read about in a matchday programe interview he did at the end of last season.
  5. Or while things are going well on the pitch (not that this one particularly upsets me I have to say)
  6. You couldn't find any saints related mistakes you made? I made a few in this thread alone:blush:
  7. TBF it's what football fans do. I mean most surrporters would kill to have been in Arsenals postion the last decade but are arse fans happy? Man U fans protested against their yank owners and they've hardly had it rough. I reckon Man city might have the only happy fans in the country (and even then I wouldn't put money on it)
  8. Probably not.................but you may have to enlighten me..............
  9. Got a fews years to wait for that one I reckon........
  10. I am the the OP I asked which teams did you want to see saints smash becuase you dislike them..........
  11. You hate every other team other than saints......... Most I just have a "whatever" opinion about........
  12. ........other than pompey. Most of us seem to have a team we dislike and would like to see saints smash on the pitch. This season I'd really like to see Blackpool canned at SMS just becuase of hollowheads comments following their FA cup loss. What are other peoples?
  13. They seem to have a few forums but no mention of us that I've found. Either they're not very bothered by us (quite likely) or they are more interested in the match they have to play before us (even more likely)
  14. See I have no problem with this post becuase you brought it up to look at you. If you'd brought up and said look what (insert poster of choice) has posted on page three the nobber I'd have a different opinion. How come you posted one you got right (well almost even one of your own posts said it was time to drop lambo) on the mainboard and one you got wrong (about the Dons) on general sports were no will see it..........
  15. I don't disagree with most of that the difference is If I go looking for my own post to highlight that I've been an arse I show I'm laid back enough to take the s hit that goes with it. Certain posters (we know who) don't take well to it. Now you can say "serves them right they shouldn't have posted it" but what actually happens is another good post gets ruined by a few posters scoring points that than spills over into other posts and so on. The best way for the forum to deal with posters they have a problem with is not to feed them. If people go looking to rattle the cages of certain posters they can't then complain that these posters ruin this forum IMO.
  16. I wouldn't put to much store in Nigels assement of our players fitness I think he likes to be misleading to confuse other teams when Adam was injuried last season he kept saying he was near recovery. Jahidi has been a week away from fitness since pre-season. Someone said they saw Harding last week at SMS hobbling really badly
  17. Depends if someone drags one up to say look I was a ***** that's fine. If they drag up a thread to say look what a ***** (insert poster name of choice) is then I think it's a bit ****ish and just cuases arguements.
  18. LOL now I know why people on here keep saying we don't sing it right at SMS.....
  19. Yes I particularly like my assesment of Guly "as not very good but runs around alot"
  20. Yes but no one knew at the time the extent of his injury only emerged latter. If he was injured we problably should have dropped him for a little while (problem is we don't have any replacement for him) to sort it out.
  21. From the football league website our turn to get a mention this week, reckons SMS can be quite intimidating:scared: http://www.football-league.co.uk/championshipblog/20110914/matt-hollands-blog-7_2293311_2449375
  22. Fair enough but with the decimation of our back four through injuries.....I think we might be best just adopting a style similair to the Posh last season and just go all out attack to score more than the opposition. Until we get some fit defenders
  23. Don't you want a new 5m CB.....................
  24. I thought we had some of them as well?
  25. My sons just started under 11 tyro the 5 tyro leagues are based on were the managers finished last season in the S&E mini league. So there is some attempt at seeding. The cups are another matter they're a free for all. My son has being playing team football since 7 (in three different teams) and my take on it is while being thrashed week in week out might not be great for kids devolopment. I think the "win at all cost" managers are more of a problem. Kids should be learning to play football the right way, sadly some managers I've witnessed over the last few seasons seem more intrested in winning than teaching kids. It's interesting watching kids who excelled at mini soccer (becuase they were big or fast on a small pitch) looking quite lost playing 11 a side on a full sized pitch with the offside rule Where passing and thinking are more useful than the ability to kick a ball hard and be able to goal hang. As a defender my son is finding it easier this season.
