The PL holds little appeal for me as a fan. Sadly any club that wants to get anywhere has to jump on the money band wagon that the PL has become. I'm also not convinced that we will sell out 32k every week in the PL we can't fill SMS after our best start to a season in living memory, can't see people paying more to see us lose more often in the current economic climate. If we go up we might manage a lower mid table finish with the odd unexpected result but how long we 'd stay in the PL unless the owners chucksome serious spending at the team who knows?

I'd like to keep the defence as settled as possible lots of changes at the back recently would be good to keep them playing together to increase they're understanding IMO. Other than that I expect a few changes but even our second string should be good enough at SMS I reckon.

You see I'm getting to the stage were I wonder if that will happen (lose the odd game sure, bad run not so sure). We've played a fair few teams some tipped to be top sides and they've all been really quite ordinary. With our home form (fortress SMS) I can't see us going on a bad run I can see losing away from home from time to time.

I don't thing Birmingham were particularly physical (apart from Stephen Carr), the first few miniutes the heavy rain and slippy pitch didn't seem to help our style of play but once the rain calmed down we got in the grove. I think we mixed it up more today a lot more long kicking from kelvin than last week against Forest.

I keep waiting for us to fall down the championship is suppossed to be tough. I can't work out if we're better than I thought we were or if championship teams are just crapper then I thought they would be. It was hard to believe today that we were the team from division 1 last season and Birmingham were in the PL last season and won the carling cup.

Well as yet I haven't seen Lambert's dad touting him to all in sundry, nor an interview with Lambo saying he has gone as far as he can with saints, Nor have I seen AP mention any interest in Lambert in the press (unlike wenger with oxo). On top of that Oxo is a young upcoming talent tipped to play for England one day who is worth taking a punt on. Lambert while a legend to me is nothing of the sort and pushing 30. As it is Ashely and Pardew are a loss away from a lynching at St james park every week. Can you imagine the uproar among the Newcastle faithful if Pardew announced the answer to their striker problem was 30 year old who has played half season in the championship his entire footballing life.................

Naturally but I was trying to find out what teams people have taken a dislike to other than pompey. For example if we played Wallsall tommorrow I'd want saints to win (of course) but I have no particular bad feelings towards them. On the other hand after the two seasons in league one I have a strong dislike of Swindon and want saints not just to beat them but humiliate them (like we did in the carling cup the other week)
