If we were still at the Dell, where would be in the leagues?

It wasn't the staduim that put us into admin though was it? I thought it was a over draft with the bank? -

So we'd be playing on Southampton common in the Isthmian League as AFC Southampton about now...... -
I wonder why? Can't see Holmes getting a lot of time on the pitch here at the moment. Surely getting game time would be good for him given his lack of matches the last couple of seasons. Then if we need him for cover we can recall him with some match sharpness already.
-
He is but at least he can pass to his own team. Richardson's cross field balls to no one are very frustrating.
-
His passing lets him down decent enough defender, resonably quick, just very poor with his final ball. I prefer Butters mainly becuase his passing seems better (though he's slower than Richardson).

How many goals will we score in all competitions this season?
doddisalegend replied to eastleighhalo's topic in The Saints
How many this season?...........19............... -
I thought that was Jonno Quick?
-
Over on their forum they reckon 2K apparently their fans are feeling a little deflated at the state of the club at the moment....
-
We had the same conversations last season. Where do you draw the line in getting in cover players? How much do you pay for them? This year with the five sub rule a bigger team means more players not even getting on the bench.
-
Me too. I like our team spirit and togetherness the players show. These days we actually look like a team rather than a collection of individuals. I'd rather keep that going with occassional good signings (ie the right player when they're avaliable for the right price) than mass panic signings.
-
The way people are talking you'd think we were letting in 5 a match. The defence could be stronger (hell the whole team could) but it's not terrible. We've had two clean sheets only conceaded to Leeds by a dodge injury time penalty. Leicester have a quaility side (most expensive in champ history I read the other day) and we were poor at the back that day but the defence isn't awful by any means.
-
Is Jaidi left footed then? as he and Jose played loads of games together last season and I thought they were both right footers.
-
Are football chairman suppossed to be liked (NC aside of course)?
-
Tough call I like Martin (CB legend of the future -I hope) but playing a left sided CB does make more sense if we have one. Is Hooiveld match fit? I think that will be the deal breaker.
-
Again I would have hoped he would have been told it was a squad game and he'd have to prove himself if he wanted to play...
-
Is that Jonno quick in the sheff utd team?
-
mmmmm South coast club? I think NC struggled in the early days with the press but he's getting better at it all the time
-
Well hopefully how much a player costs isn't Nigels first consideration when he picks the team.
-
Well theres a thread on DATM about turnning him into a CB becuase he is tall and could be the next Rio.......
-
The thing is I've seen Fox play for about 15mins, so I'm holding fire on how much better he is (I imagine at the price we'd payed for him he should be better). Guly isn't a winger you're right but we not really playing with traditional style wingers at the moment anyway, I prefer Guly off Lambert myself.
-
That's Guly as frustrating as hell...... but just when he's getting on your tits he'll conjure up something from nothing.
-
Thats what people said when Dickson came here........
-
I'm actually looking forward to seeing Barnard having a crack at the champ. Is he good enough who knows? but he deserves his chance IMO. Then again plenty of players are coming up from the lower leagues and seem to be doing alright at this level I'm starting to think the step up from league 1 to championship isn't as big as I thought it was going to be.
-
What have Harding and Guly done wrong?
-
He was a dirty b astard never minded putting in a sneaky elbow or boot..............but I quite liked that sometimes a team needs a a nasty bastard. Will always remember that goal vs Ipswich totally out of the blue.......... shoooooooooooot!
