  1. We have been very poor with recruitment of youngsters in our area for years and years. Bournemouth have been at Southampton Tyro games for many years too but never a sign of any Saints representation at games unless that has changed more recently…..
  2. One word - lost or ineffective …
  3. Well AA hasn’t touched the ball yet has he. Totally ineffective yet RM thinks he’s brilliant.,,
  4. Terrible subs there you have to say. We have been crap since they came on, no outlet at all. Martin really is weird too often.
  5. What on earth subs is that?No pace left and Edozie was murdering it….
  6. Get Sully off and Dibbling on
  7. What the hell is that team! On what planet is Rothwell good enough for our midfield!!!! Charles will suffer like hell now playing single handed….
  8. Just watched the Presser… Wow quite a difference in RM’s confidence levels…. Not nearly as confident or dare I say cocky… Has to be a good thing… Very open about his love in with AA which was a bit strange…
  9. All red herrings, the fact is RM thinks he has a midus touch and that is his problem, at times his rational thinking goes out the window.
  10. Rothwell…… Wtaf
  11. Not quite sure why Charles is so detested by RM….
  12. World class player 👍 Loved watching Denis for so many reasons…
  13. Yes but you have forgotten that RM will play AA and leave one or all of Aribo, Frazer and Brooks on the bench.. 🤷‍♂️
  14. Excellent summary
  15. The thing is Martin does seem to think that it is all about him and his ‘favs’ rather than picking the best team …. There was no need at all to pick such a weak team tonight…
  16. Rothwell nowhere near good enough but he’s one of Martin’s ‘Babes’ Dreadful starting lineup tonight Martin….
  17. Sorry but that should have been at the start! Martin has been a tad arrogant lately and picks his ‘babes’ in favour of better players for no reason…
  18. Rothwell is poor..
  19. Agree. Rothwell - really ! No Brooks, Frazer or Aribo 🤷‍♂️
  20. Not AA
  21. If he plays Mara out wide again - Well, let’s hope he bloody doesn’t!
  22. One or two things that are concerning. Firstly we seemed to be fine in midfield attacking roles despite Sully being out so I’m not really sure why we rushed out to ‘strengthen’ there and then directly shoehorn in those signings immediately and in particular Rothwell who since his inclusion we have conceded 6 in the last two games and looked poor in midfield. Mara is a pretty good central forward but cannot play out wide yet RM continues with the experiment of playing him wide or leaves him out. As soon as he moved more central against Watford he excelled. Leaving a in form Mara out against Bristol in favour of a fading AA who obviously is not very effective as a No9 seemed strange. AA appears to be very favoured in what should be a no favour squad game… It appears that RM has a certain favouritism to certain players which will hinder us if he allows his team selections to follow his preferences in people he likes over what is the best personnel for the team. RM’s style of play is scintillating to watch but it relies on very high energy, positional skill, passing, accuracy and awareness to work, we have two or three that are a bit short in those departments and the whole ethos breaks down when they are included at the moment. Against WBA we cannot afford to carry any of RM’s babes….
  23. Thank you for your ill thought out aggressive and unwelcome vitriol. Obviously a nice person….. Well Rothwell was largely not all that against Watford. We conceded three after he came on yesterday and as Jo Tessem said he was puffing and behind the game during the first half yesterday. After he came on the midfield disappeared. Yes he scored great goals yesterday for sure but his energy and positioning are not giving us enough midfield control which contributed to Huddersfield’s ability to exploit the gaping holes that were clearly there… As many on here have said, if we are that wide open against the big teams there may not be a way back. Our outstanding run has been built on conceding very few goals, if we are to continue the run we will need to work to those same principles, We will concede space when Rothwell is playing and scoring five every game might be tricky…
