John - totally agree. And I will accept it IF Wotte stays. But, we are about to have the perfect opportunity for the new owners (finances permitting, which is the real mystery) to make their mark with an appointment that reflects their ambition. As has been said by many others we have the perfect opportunity to remove every aspect of the negativity that internally has surrounded this club. A clean sweep. Optimism looms... come on Fry finish the deal!

TDD, I predicted exactly this position last summer when Lowe was re-appointed and warned we needed to sell the club urggently to avoid it. So I dont get what you're typing about mate.

Rubbish. I want to say Wotte isnt good enough and will debate with those who challenge that opinion on this messageboard. The rest is fine now, provided Fry can deliver the takeover quickly and I am optimistic he may well be about to. That's all I have said Mike, nothing more and nothing less.

Happy with that. Just that one piece of the jigsaw that led to this position is still in place. When he goes and proves 96% of us were wrong I'm sure we'll all apologise to him. If he doesnt go, as I have repeatedly said, I will support him for exactly the reason you say TDD. Time for optimism indeed.

Fish.. I have to say I have never given much credence to friendlies. WGS lost most of his as I recall as he experiemented and presumeably took few risks. I am not really concerned with the score. But, would like to know if Lallana was there. Someone said he wasnt? Bad sign?

I've never slagged the club, always posted I will support Wotte if there is no choice given. I have merely stated - as with 96% of other members of this forum in a recent poll - that I'd prefer a different manager as I think Wotte isnt very good. I assume you voted for Wotte? Or would you prefer another manager like the rest of us? Methinks the latter.
