I agree with you. Sadly I think we have TDD, we will have fans who will be reading this right now preparing to say I told you so... I gave up doing that 12 months ago. I hope he's successful. I hope he promotes us. I hope he does the business IF the new owners keep him. I will support as ever. But you know what TDD... despite my blind optimism and hope he does succeed, my head tells me yet again relegation looms. I am a tad worried ol' bean. That said... I think the new owners wouldnt be so daft as to continue his contract. I think he'll be out shortly once they select a new guy. I suspect he's on £60K a year and is therefore expendable and this merely buys a little time whilst the new owners select someone. But hey this is Southampton and just when you think you've bottomed out... we are disappointed yet again. I hope that changes on friday.

I beg to disagree... might have got the MLT takeover a bit wrong but 14 months of constantly predicting the future wrt Lowe, JP and Wotte has been sadly - very sadly - spot on ol' chap. This is yet more BAD news. I dont see how anyone could support this eejit in charge of the team. A man who relegated us to League 1, is best mates with Lowe, has no tactical idea, is uninspirational, no idea about the league, no respect, guaranteed to cause division amongst the fans and starts his new term with many fans expecting and almost hoping he fails! The blokes a loser. Last of the Lowe-lifes. AND largely responsible for project youth totally daft football. And people like him as he has shown dignity in defeat?! DEFEAT. He is a loser 100% loser.

That makes sense to be honest CS. I think you may be on to something there. Explains MLT's go at the FL yesterday for the points deduction and Pinnacles change of tune over it with regards to accepting the ten points. I suppose many of us were concerned over the brinkmanship being shown last week. I guess the FL just upped the penalty because of the challenge? Now minus 27 would be a complete disaster.

To be fair Scott, its highly likely that posts like this one helped contribute to Pinnacle pulling out. I hope some fans have learnt to shut up and let the process go on without stupid comment and criticism. We just lost a perfect opportunity to sell the club to someone who could unite the fans and cared. Now we take what we get - we will be bought out.... but I hope some of the more impatient and negative posters on here can sleep tonight knowing they MIGHT just MIGHT have helped put off the best deal we could have possibly hoped for.
