Absolutely no comment or inference that I have seen said c##k.

lol! White wine to monitor moment that!...

High risk though - especially when you make a Saints legend look a prat by doing it.

Skacel was a superb winger for Burley at Hearts. Struggling to think of anyone for the right though.

To be honest, how many trialists have stayed on recently? I cant name one.

So Pinnacle think they would still have the fans support

To be fair. I think whoever takes over will be heroes and frankly if it's Pinnacle with MLT at the feel-good-factor helm I'd still be deighted. Agree though - a frank and honest statement as to why we've been on and off so many buses wouldnt go amiss, but everything I have read from TL and MLT gives me the impression that they have both been pretty upfront overall. The worry comes from the backer. MF may not be reliable... and that could be worrying. MF would need to state early on that he is 100% behind providing funds for a new team and management to take us forward. That he accepts play offs may be our limit this year given the damage caused by the previous regime and delays. I dont blame TL or MLT. I am slightly more concerned over MF's reliability. -
Sorry you're right... Small town near Eastleigh (with better pubs)... you're just a small town near Eastleigh (with better pubs)

If we could play them before Sagga and Rasiak left given that they have just lost half their 1st team in the last 24 hours... it might be a good idea! I sense another 2-1 victory at SMS!
-
I think they've got to start feeling just a bit worried. Theyve lost some quality players in the last 24 hours.

Thirded. But does anyone else think Pompey might go down?

lol!

I hate it when Pilchards kisses us before bed time!

What's the difference between Marc Jackson and Michael Jackson? Marc Jackson will always be found in Neverland.

So did I. Did something happen Alps? -
Thought I'd help you out a bit with the last one Dalek. FWIW I'd bite your arm off to see Hoddle back over keeping Wotte.

Still waiting for the takeover and end to administration to truly back this (!) but I suspect the day Barclays finally removed Lowe forever, wiped out the debt and allowed us to move forward as a football club again... but still holding my breath on that one!

I heard he liked twenty eight year olds... ... all twenty at once!

Fry. The only man who knows the detail. The rest of us frankly are speculating like mad. Difficult compared to the inevitability of relegation, admin et al of the last 14 months! Its a real challenge to predict the outcome of this one!!
-
Here's mine: 1. Do we have enough time to rebuild the side in the summer now or are we now left with a Lowe-ish team of kids? 2. Do we have to have Wotte? 3. Will we relegate to League 2? 4. The big one.... does anyone else think that Pompey are likely to relegate this season... watching the exodus and noting Crouchie is set to rejoin Harry I wonder... ?(and hope!)

Interesting point that. I think I'd still prefer having the optimism of MLT running the club than any of the other deals... but then who knows how much money the others will bring. Worse thing about all this is that for a change, none of us really know whats going on in Fry's world. Makes it bloody hard to speculate!

Why couldn't the administrator run the club?
SaintRobbie replied to 1976_Child's topic in The Saints
The reason is simple. Fry cannot run the club as - correct me if I am wrong - the previous board need to be consulted for key decisions. Oh dear... back to square one. -

SaintRobbie replied to SET's topic in The Saints
I think there may be truth in brinkmanship and going to the wire for the other bidders - but can't see Pinnacle playing that clever a game. Everything TL and MLT said before losing the backing seemed as open as they could be. And genuine. I certainly believe both of them thought they would be able to see the deal through. It appears the man who let them down was MF... hence the reason I think its just a face saving measure. -
'You're so old it... makes-a-change' needs some work to get the Northam to master that mind
