Spell the challenge here Illingworth?
-
Agree. He's already been on message once on SSN. He has already declared his hand. It's time to have MLT, Crouch, Lawrie, Corbett stand up and say enough is enough. They are the only shareholders/legends with any respect left.

Why would a new manager of any quality want to work with Rupert Lowe?
SaintRobbie replied to Colinjb's topic in The Saints
A break? The bloke's a joke. He has the dynamism of a slug, no credibility, no knowledge of the CCC, no idea of tactics... and frankly taking off Perry when he wasnt injured yesterday = INCOMPETENCE. I'm sorry Ponty, the only break he needs right now is a permanent one with Southampton FC...services no longer required. I am sick of everyone saying its not his fault, look what Lowe's given him and he's a nice guy etc etc...He's ****ing CRAP! Did anyone read his programme notes about giving Sir Alex a nice bottle of wine? The bloke is smoking something! There was one thing that I did notice in his notes though that noone else has picked up on... an admission that you cant win anything with kids. He is now looking for men - the Total Football Youth experiment is OVER. Lowe has FAILED...JP at least seemed to hint at that... but its like the Captain of the Titanic telling everyone the ship can't sink when the final funnel entered the Atlantic. I agree with you though Boothroydd might be a good replacement. -
Did it really? Was Lowe's picture put on the screens after our goal. I didnt notice but if it was... why? Psychological tricks?
-
Wow... passing and movement forward. Not seen that for a while. When you see things like that you realise how far we've fallen since Lawrie MacMenemy/Ted Bates. Loved that clip... thank you.

Ironically, if Lowe was to be permanently removed I suspect they'd be a change in fans atitudes. Its a no-brainer in my opinion. Lowe goes and sells up leaving the club forever, fans return to support or at best we retain 15000 hard core fans every game but get behind the team. ...oh yeah and Lowe's departure as plc Chair/Director of Football is of course accompanied by the immediate sacking of JP and replacement by any CCC manager. SURVIVAL IN THE CCC IS ALL THAT MATTERS. WE WILL NOT SURVIVE WITH LOWE/JP.

My 11 year old daughter suggested this yesterday... along with some rotten tomotoes. I suppose by throwing them at Lowe you risk hitting corporate entertainment types who would probably not want to come again - thus eating away again at the plc, as well as hitting other board members and major shareholders. Shame that...not. Sounds a good idea to me for a protest. The Red Tomato throwing revolution!

A picture of another Southampton-based transport legend. A lesson of arrogant assumption. Ring any bells?
-
You should have gone. I did. It reminded me of why I have been staying away. Seriously, people need to witness how bad it has become (again) under Lowe in order to start pressuring him and the rest of the shareholders to finally go away and delist this crap system of running our dieing club.
-
I think we'll see 15000 at SMS regardless of what happens. It's a reflection of the hardcore of a huge fanbase that's already staying away. Makes Saints a bloody good buy for someone.

The Club died when it became Southampton Leisure Holdings plc FC.
-
Sadly not lol. I think they'll be fans who we laugh at forever saying Lowe wouldve sorted out our problems had he been allowed to see his experiment through. But as I say... we'll laugh.
-
We couldnt afford him.... apparently. Add that to your Lowe quotes Duncan!
-
Neil - when we started singing anti-Lowe songs last time we wanted him out it seemed to have a similar effect on the team then too.
-
I believe there was a large fight in the Northam, 2 in the Kingsland and one in the Itchen. Mad innit!?
-
Too many to mention.
-
Agreed. Also, it was never an 'admirable experiment', always suicide.
-
Cool! I'd do it provided I could sit with Dave Armstrong.
-
Actually there is one positive. The start of the end of Lowe and this plc. Its going to be hard and we may have to accept relegation and administration but at least we'll have a chance to rebuild again with optimism.
-
But there will be only downwards spiral guaranteed otherwise. A change is critical. ANY change at least provides some optimism to certain failure.

Why would a new manager of any quality want to work with Rupert Lowe?
SaintRobbie replied to Colinjb's topic in The Saints
No manager of any quality has EVER stayed at Saints under Lowe, so we shouldnt be surprised at this. JP and Lowe have to BOTH go together. -
It will be roughly £25-30K per game, 5-6 of our current 1st team players wages. (Based on figures given by Karen Brady (Brum Chairman) in the Sun today for their own policing bill. That is what Lowe is costing us per game by just having him associated with the club (and the rest). It is roughly the away gate receipts.

Really?

"The Board keeps the situation under review"
SaintRobbie replied to InvictaSaint's topic in The Saints
LOL. Just gotta laugh really. Anyone who seriously believes our boardroom and our leader is up to the job please seriously declare themselves or forever hold their peace. Thank you.
