  2. Kin snow - just got in after leaving Maidenhead at 15:00, A33 and Basingstoke nightmare, madness I tell you, madness!!! Radio saying the police and council have been in meetings all afternoon and evening, around 9 some guys comes on and tells us all it's really bad on the roads and the gritters are out, monty python sprung to mind in between expletives.
  3. I'm happy for us to splash a bit of cash and move on as much as I am with not getting to the playoffs, you just have to hark back to the summer of uncertanty and mix it all with some perspective. I'm confused TDD, you despratley want to move on and get to the prem and only see this league as an 'annoyance' but your not happy about spending cash to get their quicker, plus you think there are too many 'sing when we're winning fans' but seems to be all you're interested in. What is your antidote to the problem? In fact f.cuked if I know what the problem is in the first palce!
  4. which is what we're are striving towards
  5. Don't many many many other clubs have extremely wealthy backers. Spending money to buy players better than you're surrounding teams to gain an advantage - unfair?? I'd say we're being very consisdered on this as a club, ok we've raided the piggy bank to get us back on track and money will inevitable speed up the process of moving up the leagues but we're not buying players for ridiculuos amounts of money and certainly not in a PR way, 'look at me we've bid 100 million for Kaka'. We're quietly going about our business with what seems to be in it's first instance an element of philanthropy from a decent fellow who loves his history and our connection to the church. ML is getting on a bit has plenty of cash and fair play to him wanting to make SFC a better place. We may be splashing the cash but at the moment it seems to be considered, under the radar with no sensationalism and trying to undo years of bad. Plus we know money dosen't buy you guaranteed success, it's the whole package that's important I'm sure when/if we hit the promised land the books won't be too far out of balance - any busines needs investment to move on. I'm no fan of spending our way to the top but I like what we're doing and some people seem to have problems enjoying where we're at and suffering some sort of guilt -it's alright you're alowed to enjoy our current form of upbeat success. Every time there is a positive along come the but this but that - I'm all up for debate but really times are good, roll with it.

  8. I'm happy to own up to leaving 10 mins before half time for a beer and then getting in 10 mins into the second half - it's my life and that's the way I like it. I can go 2 hours without lots of things but then I choose not too when I have a choice.

I'm looking to get a compact camera primarily for the missus (so it has to be user friendly) Have the following so far: Nikon Coolpix S220 Fujifilm Finepix J30 or as I'll also be using it at times I've also been looking at: Panasonic FS62 or FS15 - both seem better quality of photo than the previous 2 if a little larger Anybody got any of these or have any input
