I find over ambition ugly - enjoy the ride mo fo's

Not me - there is only a small band of miseries that continue to entertain us, no names no pack drill

Everyone thinks we have a god given right to win these sort of games - not so in football land. We raise our game against the better sides, always have over the years and unfortunatley the other teams do the same to us BUT tonight should have been a win. We have a problem breaking down sides and that's we need to address - too many draws against similar have cost us valuable points. Still happy with the bigger picture though - happy clappers r us

Feel for the decent fans of P*mpey but not for the idiots or the people who let it get into this state - they should have the book thrown at them. Although a bit of me is still cheered by their misery

Would show AP to be comfortable and canny in his team selection but there is no doubting Rickie's importance hence the thought of giving the guy a rest.

Difficult one whether a rest is beneficial but still think a mix up may not be a bad thing, put him on the bench if all is not well bring him on

Agree totally but I'd like to see him given a rest on the 'easier' games (Tuesday) to protect him - we have a big enough squad and a rest would do him good ready for the run in.

It's always a dilemma about whether to rest a player or keep him going when he's playing well. If Barnard starts hitting form I'd like to see Rickie rested for a game, put him on the bench and put Waigo up front as a partner. Roll on Connoly getting fit for the run in

And in them 12 starts he's shown himself to be an extremley compentent goalkeeper in all areas especially considering his lack of 1st team consistency. He commands his area and deals with threats more proactively than KD who relies on his excellent shot stopping capabillities. Not saying KD should be dropped in any way, he da man, overall I think Bart is marginally the better goalkeeper technically but that KD brings so much more to the team. So you saying Bart is way off where KD is, technically???????

I agree - reckon Bart is marginially the better keeper but I reckon KD brings something else to the squad behind the scenes that Bart dosen't.

Would be mad to leave, integral part of the team, probably kept happy with a healthy pay packet, we're only ever heading up, chance to cement himself as a bit of legend. Hopefully we'll develop at the same time as him and should be classy come the Prem

We can pretty much put out a good L1 team with second choices for every position - excellent springboard

AP could well be suffering from the pressure - there is alot of expectation on him to perform and succeed and he has his reputation to look after considering he's an ex prem manager in League 1. It's time we gave some teams a real twonking and impose our match plan on every game rather than being sucked into the oppossing teams style of play.

I like being a Saints fan......alot.........and it's all good, fine and dandy, happy clappy etc etc Does MTL have any links to the current setup, is he on the books, rolled out as an ambassador, match day speaker (when not on Sky) or such like?

So someone has a dig at the moaners (quite rightly to btw) and then some of the moaners come on here and spout off that they were not moaning but were right all along. However right they may be (and they have some good and relative points) they're still negative moaners that dig in, argue the toss, then roll themselves out as visionaries but that's just a little ol' opinion
