  1. I think he will move on, but not to us, as you suggest, time to move on.
  2. Well, its my opinion and although unfashionable I'll stick with it.
  3. Read my reply to the previous post again. I think you have got the wrong end of the stick.
  4. I wouldn't bother, CB Fry is often so wide of the mark he would miss the opening to Southampton Water travelling back from the Wight.
  5. Yes, they are the most insignificant of the 'professional' clubs by some way. Worse still, the other clubs have a bright future ahead of them, whist they can only hope to hang on to what they have got and try and keep themselves from falling behind their next greatest rivals, Aldershot Town and perhaps Eastleigh.
  6. The evidence so far would beg to differ.
  7. I am still not convinced that we should be paying much attention to this competition when we have work to do in the Premier League. The Cup is a bit of a distraction IMO.
  8. I have to say, hypo you are wrong. Secondly you are showing bad form. This thread is rightly full of tributes to Markus Liebherr, to his memory and legacy. Let people reflect on how he saved this club and consider the gift that he has left for us all to go forward together. Now please, stop posting and accept gracefully the truth that Marku Liebherr did indeed save SFC.
  9. Markus Liebherr saved Southampton Football Club: Fact. He will always be a legend and his legacy will endure along with the club. Cheers !
  10. Can't believe this post. How negative can you get ?
  11. Yep, if we are complacent we could come unstuck. Never underestimate the opposition. We need to be ready for the Foxes, they have had some very good results. They are a proud club and know that they are fighting for their lives.
  12. It seems that the inter galactic Dalek fleet have landed and taken up camp at Leicester.
  13. Eeeeh, the good old days. 4th from bottom was always our dream and mostly we achieved it on the last nail biting day.
  14. It would not be a disaster. 40 points would be better, but we may do much better than that which would be magnificent
  15. Whatever happens, if we remain above the bottom three, that is success ! This is especially true after the summer sale. If we finish in the top half then we will have had an amazing season.
  16. No, since 2001 when the site started.
  17. Lallana could dream of playing at Dean Court next year.
  18. I am sure the team will go out and give Leicester full respect. We need to get 3 points here.
  19. Edging closer to the magic 40 points !
  20. We have made a good start. Hope we are close to safety by January.
  21. Loved the 'battling 90's'. The low point was the failure to appoint Hoddle in 2004 and our subsequent slow decline.
  22. Hmmm. If, and I mean if there are any doubts, it is a shame that we could not retain Boruc because we have very little back up after Forster.
  23. Each season is different. Hull are a very good team with a passionate set of fans. I like Hull being in the Premier League as for so long they have been an unfashionable club. Hope they do well this season, but not at our expense !
  24. Hilarious.
  25. Back to the Premier League and hopefully another 3 points. Hope we have not been distracted by the League Cup. Main thing is no injuries at Stoke tonight, but will the players be tired ?
