We just miss an on form confident striker. RL is past his best and Osvaldo did not work out.

The future of the club will probably become clear once the League programme is completed. In the meantime I am determined to enjoy the next 11 games, pushing as high up as we can and (barring an extrordinary set of events), free from the fear of relegation.

You can always put him on ignore if he irritates you that much. I find CB Fry a minor irritant and some of his views laughable. I will warn you CB Fry does not do other people having an opinion.

Depressing ? Are you mad ? A few years ago we were bumping along in League 1. Depressing is supporting the fishy few near the bottom of League 2. I was far more disappointed to lose to Wham and drop to 9th after Newcastle won. I don't want to drop any further down the league and look forward to hopping back above the Geordies if we beat the Pool. I reckon we are going to have a right old tustle with Newcastle. Given a good run we could still finish 7th !!!!!!! Think of it, 7th in the Premier League !!!!!! If we buy well in the close season we could even cement our place as say, a top team of the second tier in the Premier League ! We can enjoy giving the big clubs the odd bloody nose at the same time !

I think you are right. Also, Wham are on a good little run and their tails are up. Pity we have got Liverpool next as I think we need to get a win in to start us off on another little run. I wonder which Liverpool will turn up, to me they are **** hot team and after a little wobble are due to dish it out to someone. I hope its not us but I am sure they will want revenge for their defeat at Anfield.

No. I am consistent. I have one priority for Saints. That is survival in the Premier League. Anything 17th and above. That should be our objective at the start of all our seasons in the top flight and all that matters.

If he keeps us up then he has done well. Need to start planning for next years campaign. First objective, reach 40 points and safety. Everything else is incidental.

We will win games against weaker opposition. Wham wanted the win today and are on a roll. In my mind at the start of the season I would be happy for Prem survival. Another 3 or 4 points and that will be assured and that's me happy.
