Captains have a more important role off the pitch. The players want a captain that they trust and who acts as a conduit between players and management. We have leaders on the pitch and you don't need an arm band to lead. IMO, this whole Lallana as captain thing is fast becoming another classic SWF myth peddled as fact.

Do you all think that the role of the captain in about who runs around shouting the loudest on the pitch?
