The same people who said he wouldn't step up to the Championship and then said he wouldn't step up to the Prem are now saying he can't step up to Intl games. It's no surprise. If he got a chance, I'm sure he would prove them wrong but maybe I am just deluded.

The most irritating thing for me is that in one friendly we will play Theo Walcott on the right of the front three and then the next game, play Milner there instead. Two completely different players expected to do the same role. This England team lacks any real identity, the usual suspects get games no matter how they are playing and there is absolutely little or no desire to challenge the status quo and doing something different.

Exactly, he is not the level of player which we are looking for at all.

What's the best approach then, having a system which you use regardless of the players available or do you pick players based on form and find a system which works for them? In addition, Roy was banging on earlier about never imposing systems on players so in his own words, the system shouldn't be relevant.

I don't think the last 6 games is proof that he didn't improve over the course of the season. Even in the last 6 games, he was still better than at the start, just not as good as he had been before that.

He was formidable until he got that illness which put him out for a game or two and he never regained that form. The whole team looked a bit tired and stale towards the end. What point are you trying to make about his last six weeks anyway which would 't apply to a number a players anyway?

I think we will see more pace and mobility in the final third from new personnel. I can't see too much changing by way of system but could possibly revert to a 4 3 3 given how we seem to be looking for another CM. Width could be provided by Clyne and Shaw.

The offending Milton PM has been leaked. I have seen it and it's pretty shocking stuff. PM Glasgow Saint if you would like to see it but it's not for faint of heart.

Spend a lot of time in Cape Town as my wife is from there and we will most likely move there at some point. Need to get set up here a little more though because as Chalet says, I most likely won't get the salary and benefits I get here. Cape Town is an excellent place to live, the weather and lifestyle is incredible and there is loads of footy on the telly. Always felt very safe there and you can avoid trouble very easily by using a bit of common sense. I grew up in Millbrook which feels like a much more dangerous place to be than the parts of SA I have been to. Don't know too much about Durban though. I'm sure it's very differen't.
