He's been on loan at Brighton, is still a saints player and won't be needed next season or ever.

His reading of the game and technical ability is what attracted Saints and many other clubs around Europe but his general shape has never been good enough for the PL, he's had work to do. Yes, good point about our unique situation, something with Samuels doesn't even mention his little attack piece. Our ownership has never been clear and we only found out about KL this Saturday. Up until that point, they have shown no interest or desire to openly show any support or appreciation for future ambitions of the club and I'm sure that is of their own chosing, not something orchastrated by Cortese.
