    Triple snub?

Probably because he heard that they were about to sign James McFadden. Massive player for massive club
  2. It's a shame that a few of the forum moaners ruined those with their never ending moaning and whinging.
  3. Are we still talking about Alex Crook here!?
  4. European Powerhouse Celtic sign James McFadden.....
  5. Face, Arms, Speech, Time to call an ambulance
  6. Any link to the article or any chance of an overview of what it says and what the quotes are from Wanyama please pal?
  7. No or course they don't but you lose credibility and authenticity when you constantly contradict yourself on Twitter. He could do more to explain what's a personal opinion not backed by any sources or knowledge vs something which actually knows. It seems he tries to pass everything off as his when most of it isn't. He is a journo however, so will on occasion get a scoop.
  8. But clearly any journo who is truly close to the club would have picked up on the story a lot sooner.
  9. As Saint Charlie pointed out, how can you defend tweeting that we have no interest in Nainggolan on the same morning that his article of our 15M bid for him is printed?
  10. Which he found out about late the night before. It had been in the Spanish press for weeks yet he didn't pick up on that.
  11. The curly wurley is for his agent. Weak from Cortese IMO.
  12. A record deal for a Kenyan player
  13. Fed to them by Alex Crook no doubt. I wouldn't believe a word of it!
  14. You would think so but the amount paid to agents and the number of agents involved in each deal has got out of hand in recent years. Agents pop out of the woodwork at the last minute claiming they are owed X amount from any deal. Cortese's stance is right IMO but it would only be effective if all clubs acted the same or if the industry was better regulated. As it is at the moment, we will definitely lose out on some deals IMO.
  15. I was thinking the same earlier and in particular, things are very quiet on wide players. Stoch a side (and I'm not sure how solid that link is), we have been linked with pratically no one.
  16. I'm not really worried by it but do question how much our position on agent fee's will impact our ability to consistently compete for players of the calibre which we are linked with, although it hasn't hampered our ability to sign Ramirez and Lovren. I guess the situation varies alot on a case by case basis.
  17. Perhaps but given that we know we pay a relative little amount to agents and the player has stated the deal for his agent isn't good enough then the assumption would be that Cortese had moved from his position even if it was a compromise.
  18. Lazy lying scumbag journo or lazy lying scumbag player?
  19. If we do agree a deal for Wanyama then it would indicate that Cortese has backed down unless the player has no other options, which we all know he does. This would smash the whole "we don't pay agents" policy to bits because everyone will know after that all they have to do is go to the press to force his hand. I can't see this deal happening for that reason but it does make it even more difficult for us to pull off these deals when we don't pay the agents, unfortunately.
  20. No way would Poyet work under Joke Innear
  21. #hahaguttedsaintsfans
  22. I'm not sure that many are saying that Celtic are not a good side but that the league is poor and that players would prefer to be playing in the PL over the SPL, which is fair IMO.
  23. Spot on pal, would rather we were in for Englishmen like Wayne Rooney who play for the love of the game.
  24. Cheers tokes, it's hard work keeping Saint Charlie in check. You will notice that he hasn't been active much over the last week or so. He took a secondment to build up his random saints player picture library. The worst thing I ever did was show him how to add pictures to posts
