If I could touch one person and make a difference than my mission on the mongboard is complete. Thank you Krakers

It's not easy, but we were on the right path.
-
Yet, we have lost 3 players who have moved to two of the top sides in the division and others linked with a host of top European clubs. Yet we were miles away from breaking the top 6 with extra strength in the squad. I don't think it's that much of an unreasonable assumption.

I'm not questioning where the signings are right now so your bet is safe! Just highlighting that I think the task ahead is pretty huge and I'm not 100% confident in the job we'll make of it.
-
I haven't written it off, I asked about people's confidence levels but some people seem real angry about this
-
September 1st I believe. Plenty of time to replace 3 England internationals + whoever else leaves + players we would have needed regardless.
-
There is no way we would have come anywhere near 8th without the 3 which have gone. We proved last season time and time again how brittle we are with key players missing.

2 months is no time at all.

Just pointing out the starting position we are in now. Not sure why I have to wait to voice an opinion and I'm not talking in absolutes so I don't see what the issue is?
-
Ummm, because it makes a forum pretty redundant otherwise?

At this moment in time we probably have one of, it not the worst squad in the division. I know we are all supposed to wait until August and be all super excited about all the brilliant players we will buy with all our money but the type and quality of player we will likely get will be lower than what he have lost/will lose. Absolutely huge re-building job to do with a completely new background team. I know many on here don't like the reality of the situation pointed out but I can't see it any other way. We've gone from being a couple of signings away from breaking into the top 6 to what would today be a nailed on relegation candidate. Who is geniunely confident in the ability of the powers that be to not let us regress dramatically next season?
-
Windows is right, we will have a weaker squad come August with far less spent on players in than than what is received.
-
Probably not much

Ralph? Kat? Gareth? Need I go on?

The bed wetters are merely pointing out that no club should be prepared to let all their best players leave in one window just because a big club wants them. If we have drawn the line in the sand now then, great, but I doubt we will keep Lovren or Morgan.
-
He wasn't up to scratch for a relegated Doncaster last season. Do we really need to waste an hour or so of game time?
-
Pastor sure has a lot of bone for average strikers
-
After the gloom of the fire sale it's great that the first shot was of big Jos, it's a real lift to remember hat we still have class players at the club.

Appalling show of commitment from our players
Dig Dig replied to Unbelievable Jeff's topic in The Saints
I think the board have set a poor precedent. Any half decent player we have can expect to walk away from saints as long as it's to a bigger club. We really haven't shown any sign of acknowledgement that we simply can't afford to let 4-5 of your best players all leave in one window, especially went we had weaknesses to deal with regardless. -
I heard tonight that there is a member of staff doing some stuff on behalf of Osvaldo. There have been no bids for him and it seems we are preparing for him to come back.
-
Of course he would have, you're embarrassing yourself getting all shirty about someones take on our current situation.
-
Can't say that on here without being called a bed wetter or whatever. We all have to wait until the first day of the season to see if we have signed brilliant players and have an amazing squad, ready to go again next year.
-
Let one maybe two go and tell the rest they sre staying another season.
-
Yep, as long as a bigger club wants one of our players, we just let them go.

Prob about 30M
