  1. Renewed mine today by phone, no problems encountered, and have decided to move from Itchen to Kingsland. If anyone is still waiting and wondering why I was told it would be posted towards the end of next week so maybe all will be done then.
  2. You're dead right MLG. When I saw that picture of Lowe with RL on his shorts my first thoughts were "This is not a good thing". And was I right.
  3. Under no circumstances should you mention light aircraft. Not at all. "Dribble" is a good word. Nothing to do with UKIP, I just like it.
  4. Training ground ??? Do you mean the school playing fields or have I blinked and missed a major purchase or something..?
  5. SSA you need to read the Money saving expert link quickly. They say do not use the word "appeal". Just say you are refusing to pay as they have no power to fine or penalise the public.
  6. I am a semi retired gynaecologist although I do some part time work. Just to keep my hand in, you understand.
  7. Hereford is very famous for it's cows and Worcestershire is very famous for it's sauce. Apart from that I know nothing but I hope this has been of some assistance to you in your decision making process.
  8. Never, EVER mention that ***ts' name that begins with B again. Not EVER.
  9. Peltier's OK but no way worth £1. £1 ? Yes he is.
  10. For sure. When I took my O levels in the late 60's and A levels in the early 70's some very bright kids actually FAILED. Does this happen today ? I hear even a fail is a pass now or they're not allowed to fail anything in case they become damaged for life.
  11. And that, my young friend, is the trouble with your generation. Of course older people are always correct because we know more than you do as we've been around longer and have more experience of life. You'll need to embrace that as a concept as and when (or if) you start life in the real world of employment for example. This is what my father said to me and what his father said to him and what his father said to him and so on and so on.
  12. Yes, surprisingly, he is actually quite literate and moderately intelligent despite the god-awful image he portrays on match days. For a skate.
  13. No, you're OK talking to yourself - I do it all the time. It's when you actually start to argue with yourseld that you're in trouble... ;-)
  14. Is it that bad down there? I'm due to get a train at 11am from Worthing. Bit of rain overnight but no thunderstorms and seems fairly bright here now. Better bring my pak-a-mac.
  15. A view which seems to be confirmed by a friendly Blade's comments as I posted. Willimson was not my choice, I was responding to a posting by bigchrisy who expressed a desire to sign him. As I have been active on Sheff U's forum recently, I said I would find out what he was like. Not good, apparently.
  16. I hate Cornwall. Those bl00dy narrow roads get on my nerves and twenty five years ago I was refused a crab sandwich in a pub because it was 2.10pm in the afternoon. I have never forgotten or forgiven that. Bitter and twisted....?? Moi...??
  17. For a CM i wouldn't mind seeing lee williamson from Sheffield U. Was good a few years back but not sure what he's like these days. Here's your answer from a Blade: Lee Williamson in my opinion has been the best player for the last three games. He is a good player at championship level however he seems too injury prone. He had a life threatening operation earlier this season. Unfortunately he has missed 7 games since Christmas for not being able to keep his head, I am sure he has been sent off twice when we have already been reduced to 10 men. Not good enough when your fighting relegation. I hope we can keep him and keep him fit as I think he will be an asset in a league lower but I would expect a few teams to put some bids on the table for him.
  18. Funny you should mention those two. I am currently having some banter with some Blades on their site - I used to live in Sheffield as a student and am sympathising with their current plight. They reckon Evans is a waste of space as are most of the players that let them down so badly. Don't know about Williamson, I will ask them. BT was considered a waste of space and a huge drain on resources at £35K a week too. I think we can do better than any of their players, many of whom are on £25,000+ a week - which is probably why they are where they are financially right now.
  19. Yes, cheers Acetripper. Very kind of you. Saw you on the Brighton forum at the weekend. Is there a forum that you're not registered with ? Good luck in the play offs, should be yours but oh what a lottery it might be. Hope to see you visiting us again next season.
  20. I have never sat in the ladies conveniences. HTH.
  21. I see our friend from oop north, Acetripper, has made an appearance on NSC too. He gets around, that boy.
  22. I have worn my retro Saints shirts several times in Portsmuff. Once, to buy some vinyl records from someone off Eastern Avenue. "Is that a Southampton shirt?" they asked. "Yes" I said, glowering. "Oh" they said. But then I am excessively 'ard. Know what I mean. I often used to wear them at Portsmouth Record Fair (and at the Southampton one too) when selling vinyl, CD's etc (as a dealer) and nothing ever happened. Once a Pompey female bought some vinyl off me and said "It goes against the grain for me to buy off a Southampton fan". "Never mind" I replied "My d1ck is better educated than your boyfriends' is". Which shut her up fairly quickly. And one of my better customers is a Pompey fan who is actually OK and not afraid to spend the dosh either. But disgraceful things like terrorising innocent people, including kids, is out of order and I hope these thugs are caught and dealt with pronto.
  23. And check out the odds for BHA v Hudds. I'm no expert but the bookies seem to have BHA favourites for that one. That is until they find out they'll be playing the youth team...!!
