We sign players who have huge potential and potentially a large sell-on value, that's our transfer strategy and we won't change from that. Lambert will have no problem in the premier league. If Danny Graham, Mamdy Sidibe, Grant Holt, Steve Morrison can all score 10 goals, then so can he - easily.

We will not sign another striker. Jay Rodriguez, Rickie Lambert, Billy Sharp, Tanadari Lee, Guly Do Prado, Lee Barnard Ok, none have played in the premier league but I can promise you that if we were still in the Champ alot of premiership clubs would be after Lambert, because they believe he can do a job at that level - and so do i. And more so for Jay, premier league clubs have been after him because they believe he can do a job in the premier league - which we have to believe to. Having a group of players that are hungry and driven to prove themselves is much more rewarding than having a bunch of players who have already been there and done it. Not all will succeed, but I can promise you that we'll get lots of goals from a few of them next year.

Don't think so. From what everyone has said they wanted Chaplow, but Chaplow wanted to give it a shot here so it's a straight cash deal. I imagine we'd have paid less of Chaplow was included etc.

He's an absolute nutcase who shouldn't be playing football, but he does come out with some common sense from time to time. No idea why he thinks he could play for England. QPR fans can't stand him as he was so bad for them all last year.

Would only expect to see GK, CB (possibly 2 now), RW, 1 Striker and maybe a CM. - but let's not forget we also have Ward-Prowse coming up to play there. The alst thing the club will want to do is sign ''squad'' players in positions we already have cover in, thereby blocking the youth. I think we'll see 6 max in this summer to add to the spine of the side. Not many out, maybe a few loans.

As far as I knew their priority was Piennar too, Spurs have named a price (around £3.5-4m i think) and they're working on selling to sort that. They simply don't have the cash to hand for that at the mo, let alone Jay. Would take a month or 2 for any everton stuff to happen and I don't think any party wants to delay it that long, it's in Jay's interest to get this sorted before pre-season IMO.
