  1. The usually ever-reliable Wittingham has had a complete mare.
  2. 2-0 whu
  3. Probably not, they're coming back into it a bit more now though.
  4. This is going to end up an absolute pasting, and render the return leg a non event if Cardiff continue like this.
  5. How bad are Cardiff??? They look horrendous.
  6. Swansea have an initial bid to sign on-loan Gylfi Sigurdsson on a permanent deal rejected by Hoffenheim, BBC Sport Wales understands.
  7. Wow, he's not quite at their standard though I wouldn't have thought.
  8. This is actually a pretty decent close season. Lots of sport to look forward to.
  9. Not more time, but probably more space to operate in. Bigger pitches, more expansive teams etc.
  10. Iniesta Class.
  11. It's a very tricky balance, because as you say we need to add premier league players to the squad - but you don't want to harm the morale and the bonds within the club. So it's going to be a case of managing this very well....I doubt we'll see too many leave, or too many come in - but the players that come in will be class that take us up a level.
  12. Cheers for the info though - appreciate the snippets. I guess from how you're talking that our interest is genuine and not made up?
  13. This!!!! I'm so pleased we can just put our feet up knowing that we've done it..
  14. If he wants to move Further north...! Might come down to location, and I'm pretty sure we'd match anything stoke would pay.
  15. It's missing both West Ham games too. and the Skate away game
  16. Great video, shows how well we played last year. Some of our football was amazing. You forget some of the goals, but Corks pass through to Guly for the goal against Millwall was majestic.
  17. To be fair, he's played a fair bit for Norwich this year and hasn't done a great deal wrong. Would be a decent squad addition....but as with Zat Knight, he wouldn't improve us in anyway.
  18. It's easy not to get excited - we've got nothing else to think about for months.
  19. To be fair, we've not had a great deal of opportunity to watch him live. Wolves fans hold him in high regard though, and he's proven in the premier league. Exactly the sort of player that fits our signings remit IMO.
  20. Yep, away at Forest. Oddly that was a great away day. I think we all want into it thinking it might be our last ever match, so we just enjoyed it! We didn't play too badly either..
  21. I would go as far as to say WHU need to win tonight, if they go into the home leg with a deficit or a stalemate then I'd fancy Cardiff any day of the week.
  22. Home first day, home final day, home during Easter and home over Xmas. The ideal fixture list, and we've had that for the last 2 seasons pretty much!
  23. In league 1 we signed players out of the blue, but this was because the media didn't really care about us so didn't bother to unearth rumours. Now we're in the premier league it will be near on impossible to keep any interest quiet. One party will leak it at some stage and as we're a premier league club the media will take an interest. We are probably genuinely interested in Jarvis.

  25. That thread is such a great read, as after that MK Dons game it all looked so far away. To quote me.... Amazingly , that's what happened. It was a run of form which I've never experienced as a Saints fan. We're now well ahead of schedule. To me this just shows what an amazing Job NA has done. From being in the doldrums and losing to MkDons, we were 13 or 14 points off the top 2. Now we're in the premier league. Astonishing what he's done for us.
