I meant last season, not since 2008!
-
I think they've proven this year that they're up there. They took Chelsea all the way. Players like Cavani, Hamsik, Lavezzi, Inler - top top international class players. They're a neat team
-
He's made a right mess of that club. The players he has brought in should never be playing for Liverpool, let alone at the fee's he's forked out to get them. 22m for Henderson, seriously? 20m for downing. are you having a laugh? and the best till last - 35/36m for Andy Carroll - what the **** have you been drinking Kenny? It wouldn't be too bad if he's struggled to get them going because he hasn't had the finance, but **** me - they've spent on similar levels as Man City and they have made a royal **** up which has damaged the hell out of that club. A scouser made a point yesterday......A midfield of Maxi, Gerrard, Marrelies and Alqualni was at their disposal at a point last year. Now they have Adam, Downing, Henderson, Kyut across the middle - that's come at an enormous transfer price as well. It's just madness. Anyone else would have been sacked if they'd spent so much but taken the club so far backwards. They're now nothing more than a top 10 team.

I think it's pretty pathetic chanting at your own fans. Pretty sad really. Almost as bad as the season ticket waving nonsense

First and foremost I want promotion....I want to win the league too, but the first priority for me is making sure there's a big enough gap between us and third....then we can win the league!
-
It was only you who had the moronic view that we'd be anywhere near 17th, which is why you need to be tied up into some sort of asylum! It'll keep you away from Hoddle too.
-
Why do we want that? We want as much distance between us and third as possible, therefore a draw or a Reading win.
-
They are down, no doubts about it.
-
Couldn't be more pleased for him. Hopefully that kick starts his career here because if he now gets on a scoring run they might as well give us the trophy now.
-
It was clear you got that wrong in August. Well done for finally admitting it.

Very tricky game. Doncaster played well and have a lot of experience in their team, you can see how they got results against Reading and WHU, But we stuck to our game and broke them down......I thought Lambo was struggling, wasn't surprised to see him go off - but it's nice to see we still have a potent threat even without Lambert, as Sharp was terrific. Moving and running all game, looks much fitter than he did a few weeks ago - our back room team do a fantastic job on players! the WHU result is brilliant for us. It's looking more and more like a battle between them and reading for 2nd, and us just going on to coast to the title. Next weekend is a biggy...a draw between WHU and Reading is key for me, but a Reading win wouldn't be ''bad'' as the gap between us and WHU starts to become almost uncatchable.

I have no idea why people think like this! Bizarre outlook to have.

Thought it would sell out based on what they told me on Monday. Struggled to get 2 seats together anywhere. None in northam, or kingsland on Monday.

Are we still unpleasant club to deal with?

I couldn't give a ****. How we are acting is obviously working. -
I reckon it'll be similar to last season. We'll be 'promoted on GD'' after the posh game, but then we'll need a point from the final 2 to make absoloutley sure.
-
A few years ago (the season of our playoff push iirc) they were 12 or so points clear at the top in October or November. By the end of the season they finished 12th. They won most games for the first 3 months, then didn't win many for the rest of the season.

His goal scoring amounts are incredible. Amazing really. But you have to wonder is it down to the strength of the defenders in the Spanish leagues? Apart from Barca and Real there is an awful lack of investment for all the their teams (Malaga excluded). So teams like Granada aren't that special, and most championship teams would beat them - so you need to put the league into context too. Then again look what he did to Bayer a few weeks back. He is exceptionally talented, but his la liga goal haul is aided by the decline of teams in Spain.

You can almost smell the premiership now, it's so close - but it's also still so far away if you get what I mean. 8 games can change a hell of a lot. We're well in the driving seat, more so than I ever thought we would be a few weeks ago. I was saying that 80 pts would do it a few months back, but that was before Reading went on their run. I would say 85 should get you automatic promotion, because the teams aren't going to win all their remaining games (such as we won't). As good as it feels today, there will be some moments in the next few weeks which make us all doubt again....but let's be honest, we can win all of our home games, pick up the odd away win and lose the rest. That should be enough. COYR!

Also struggled getting tickets for this one, very very limited seats on monday - will easily sell out IMO. Will be tough though. I hope people aren't expecting a precession because it simply will not be like that. Donny will play for a point, pack the midfield and stop us expressing ourselves. They did the same against Reading and WHU and it gave them some pretty big points. Let's hope donny aren't the party poopers in this promotion race for all teams..

We have taken 25 points from the last 12 games. Wow. Reminds me of last season's end. -
Agreed, we'll slip down to 17th before long.
-
It's between 3. I'm not even paying attention to the teams below WHU now. Too far away and too little time to catch up.

As well as them losing Roberts for the season, this should derail them. -

An amazing player. He's changed the landscape of goal scoring amounts in a season.
