free kick cleared. Not a good one.

Good strong forward play by Sharp, wins a fk.

Zaha is causing is all sorts of problems so far, which I'm not surprised. Dangerous player.

another corner palace

Palace corner, they've started well.

come on saint_clark!!

Our fans sound immense. Sounds like a home game.

He just doesn't fit in here, we gave him another chance but it's clear that the management can't integrate him for whatever reason. Always has been a bit of a funny character. If De Ridder beats him to the bench then you know his time is up.

Here we go then, minutes away from another Dellhurst.

ask alpine, not me.

Nope, only you and a couple of other bed wetters. The rest of us work on the facts that were are still TOP, we have the best GD, and we play Reading at HOME. I'd say it's you who needs to get a grip.

No TV streams. Lots of premiership games on today, we're not going to get covered.
-
If this is all you're going to say all afternoon, then **** off to Readings forum. Seriously, support the team or **** off.

They took advantage of his high profile performances for us, and put a price upwards of £1m on his head which is madness. He's never a £1m player. That's why we moved on and he dossed around for a few months.

No ambrose, Parr, Jedinak, Murray, Easter, Wright, Williams - all first team players. (Ambrose is a sub though tbf)
-
He only really has pace though, he's got no real ability other than that. He was great for us though in L1, so I only have fond memories of him - but I think L1 is his level tbh. Defenders at this level are a little more wise and will deal with him without much issue.

This is the palace team: Speroni, Clyne, McCarthy, Dikgacoi, Scannell, Zaha, Moxey, Parsons, O'Keefe, Martin, De Silva 5 youth team products in the side, 2 making their professional debuts. They will have no fear.

Good contribution. Do you have anything useful to add?

The WHU V Brum is a late kick off mate, on Sky at 5pm I think.

That's just an article on an uninformed Crystal Palace fan site. He is out for the season.

We can defend, that's a bit of a silly statement to make. I believe we have the 2nd best defensive record in the league, but yesterday - we were sloppy. We did give Norris too much space and that was inexcusable at the time, but it doesn't mean we can't defend. At this stage of the season you just need to get results and that goes for both teams, they're not going to let us get the ball down and take the micky as we were able to do earlier in the season. Team's have sussed us out to a degree, but having the option of Lambert up front makes us unpredictable - and if you want to win games, sometimes you just need to take a touch and lift it - get lambo knocking it down and players in and around. This stage of the season isn't about being pretty, it's about getting the results. I think the fans were just nervous, there was alot of nervous tension in the air. It was a big game in terms of promotion for us and it was on edge for quite a long time - I don't think we ever had total control and they kept having these scary break aways every now and then. Let's see how we feel this time tomorrow, there are alot of games to be played in 14 days and believe me - so much will change. How it looks now will not be how it looks in 14 days time, we will all drop points but it's about who has the mental resolve to get over that line. Reading look to be well pumped up for this and they do not want to end up in the playoffs again, we have the recent experience of last year and alot of players that would dream of playing in the premier league (and may never get the chance again). WHU are in the dodgiest territory. They are expected to win, they are currently in the worst position. Their home form has been poor because their fans expect too much too soon (that won't change either), they have more home games left than either of us - that IMO will be pivotal It may not be decided until the last day, but as long as we're still there on the final day of the season with it in our hands - then we'll do it. Just believe.

Saints / Reading / West Ham run in: Games to go . . .
S-Clarke replied to .comsaint's topic in The Saints
Absolutely, there are no 'given' results at this stage of the year and this time of the year often springs up the most bizarre results, so we need to keep our guard (which I'm sure we will because we've been consistent all year). Do not expect WHU or Reading to win all of their remaining games, and the same goes for us. Lots of twists and turns and unexpected things will happen. It's exciting though isn't it? -
Probably right. That comment alone shows how close we are and any slip up from the teams below us and it could be curtains. We'd then be 7pts in front, with WHU only having 12 pts to play for. They'd realistically have to win all 4 games and we'd have to lose 90% of ours to then fail. As weirdly deflated everyone is today, by 8pm tomorrow we could all be as high as kite.

If those set of results happen then we've won the league! So hopefully they do win their last 5!
