  1. He's not been able to sort anything else out, so I don't expect anything different here. The bloke is sadly a buffoon.
  2. Yeah it's posturing at this point, no more than that. We're bang to rights now, more so than I ever believed we were. I don't remember the last time we were on the news at 10 on a weekday. What a time to be alive.
  3. What a complete mess this all is. The last act of SR I hope.
  4. Are you saying SR were incompetent in something else? I don't believe you.
  5. Yeah it's a bit of a shit show, it really is. It's all over the national news, papers, everywhere - but we still have the playoff final arrangements on our website. I saw that Parsons has sent an internal mail to staff, but what about the fans? Fuckers. It just sums it all up really. We are run by absolute lunatics who have no idea about running a football club.
  6. I wanted to believe that, but this feels more systemic the more I see it. And if it's this systemic it's not just known by the analysts, it's running deeper throughout. The full report will be somewhat revealing, this should show everything. Some of the snippets coming out tonight are grim and it shows us in such a terrible light. Dragging us through the gutter.
  7. I think it was worked out that a former employee, who was let go in late December, was the whistleblower. Quite typically he was a former Boro employee before we got him too. You couldn't make it up, just a complete comedy sketch really.
  8. At least we have Bazunu to look forward to next season.
  9. Sadly you're right, there is no logic on show anywhere which makes this all the more frustrating. Every angle equals incompetence.
  10. Be interesting what the players agents are being instructed to do in this situation, it's all rather unprecedented. We could have law suits left right and centre if we're not careful.
  11. There have been some great moments, the rise under Adkins, the evolution under Poch and Koeman. The takeover at the 11th hour by Markus. But I can't help but feel that since SR have got hold of us, the clubs trajectory has been negative to extreme levels. Bar that play off win against Leeds, it's all been misery under these losers. This evening has been the lowest of the lows for me, the 'takeover' sagas were stressful, but this just feels like a new low. And like you say, none of us have asked for this. We've kept going, we've kept paying, we pay more when the prices go up etc etc. We do it all in good faith ourselves, and expect the club to act in good faith too.
  12. There's no way he can stay. This will be referred to the FA and he'll likely be blocked from coaching in England. It feels very extreme as he hasn't set out to kill anyone, he was just an inexperienced idiot. But that's where we're at.
  13. That's the gallows humour part of all this, we spied on Oxford and were horrendous all game. A team that we were better than in terms of player. We can't even do spying right. Or hiding behind a tree.
  14. Oh i agree, I don't buy it either. I think it's a weak argument and it all just goes back to him being inexperienced and silly. Going back to losing at home to Preston, I could have never imagined we'd be here today. This is just the most surreal evening I've ever had. I haven't even eaten.
  15. Sounds like it all came from Tonda, because he 'didn't know it was a rule' in this league. His analyst background from other countries would have probably included this sort of thing as standard, I'm sure other clubs do it all over the world. I do think it's a silly rule in the sense that the '72' hour thing is nonsense and it only applies to the EFL, so in my eyes this punishment is obviously massively disproportionate, but going back to the club it just stinks of incompetence and inexperience from everyone at our club.
  16. You don't show your hand like that though, it was dumb. Keep your cards close to your chest, don't admit anything to the accusers and wait for them to thrash it out independently. It's like a car accident - never admit liability at the scene, never. Let the insurers battle it out.
  17. I read he's going to WHU.
  18. I think the issue here is that further allegations only came to light on Sunday - up to that point, it was just the Boro game in question.
  19. Which backs up my argument that the club shouldn't keep appointing kids with little to no experience, and then surround them with kids with no experience (like Ben Reeves). He's been a bit dumb, everyone has been a bit dumb, but SR should also take the can here.
  20. Exactly this, fans shouldn't be attacking themselves here. Some of us were optimisitc, some of us more worried - but at the end of the day, none of us knew what was going on. We could only hope that the club acted in the best possible way and that our money goes on good, not bad. The fans are the ones who need to rally together here because we've been absolutley shafted in the biggest way I've ever seen in English football.
  21. Seriously, wtf? He wouldn't have done that, would he...? Well, given everything else that goes on here probably. What a fool. He gave Gibson everything he needed.
  22. He has just signed a new 3 year deal at Stoke.
  23. Steve Gibson probably.
  24. We did get really good at corners didn't we.
