There is a difference, this is a cardiff city that is pushing for the premiership. We're a club that are 2 divisions below the premiership. We will only be able to attract mid-championship players at the moment. If we were pushing for promotion in the championship, you never know.

It's not a case of premiership players moving to us, it's more about their moves then making championship players avaliable that could do a job for us. It's the trickle down effect that is caused by the 25man rule, or a few big money signings by other clubs (other than man city) I'm pretty sure tyson would have signed if Forest had managed to get Wittingham and Pratley, as he would have then been deemed surplus. - but he's ended up playing in their opening 2 games.

i think he doesn't want to drop down, i've always seen him as a bit of himself. But still would be a very good player for us pacey, tall, strong....can't ask for much more at this level

If the players aren't available, then there isn't much we can do. Fonte was avaliable in january because of Palace's situation. He would not have joined otherwise.

I think we need to wait for confirmation on that, and it's fair that we pause for a bit. It may have to be loans, like Papa and Antonio were. We don't know what the future holds for us long-term.

There's a thread like this on most football forums at the moment. The market is quiet, apart from the odd free transfer or nomial fee, man city are the only club spending money. Until this changes and other clubs further down the leagues start showing their hand, then we'll have a stalemate. I expect us to wait for loans if im honest.

He looked better in LM against Plymouth, and struggled at the end of the game when he moved to LB. He was utterly awful by all accounts at LB against Bournemouth and was subbed at HT, replaced by Harding. so i don't think harding is under threat just yet....he's going to be used as more of an attacking winger for us imo.

i'm sure he is, he updated his Mali website earlier this year with him wearing his saints scarf. I always felt that was a lovely touch and showed what a genuine fella he was.

I am sure they will. They also attended games with him, including wembley, so i'm sure they are full aware of his passion and our passion. Saints were a big deal for him and he would have wanted to ensure it would be secure with people he trusts.
