I don't really buy all this bedding in stuff. If you're a good enough manager you'll find a player who you feel can slot right in. AP knows what he needs and im sure he also knows who he needs. It's not going to be a squad overhaul by any means.

Jesus Christ. You don't buy a club for near on 15million and let it linger in league 1. You want a return, you don't get that return in league 1 or being relegated to league 2. Therefore you HAVE to invest into the team - FACT. ML is clever and so is Cortese - the liebherr family haven't made their fortune by being idiots.

Good news about Murty as well. Hopefully he puts pen to paper on monday - because he's exactly what we need both on and off the pitch.

Interesting snippet on south today tonight.... they were previewing an interview with AP for next week...and he said ''If im honest, if the board look at this club in 4-5 years and see we're not in the premiership - i think they're going to wonder why'' doesn't sound like were not going to spend to me. When you have ambition to be in the premiership and a billionaire owner, surely there's only one way we can go?

Good appointment. He did really well at Brighton and was then kicked out because they wanted Adams to get a go....what did Adams do? get them involved in a relegation battle and was sacked (he had a better squad at his disposal too) Stuart Murdoch is a v good appointment too, interesting that he's going to play part in our scouting system - he is another one who knows about this league.

I'll post again what i said yesterday as it's very apt. for this thread... We had no indication or leaks prior to harding signing...and that was just announced within hours one morning. People seem to be panicking that we actually do not have the funds - but i cannot see that being true. Why do you spend almost £15mill on a club to let it linger in league 1? You don't - he will want to get us back up and he will not achieve that without investment - Trust me, ML is not an idiot. Also...i don't believe Pardew would have joined us if he was only allowed to sign free's on low pay contracts. The money is there...it's just a case of finding the right players in a professional manner.

Our left side is excellent now. We even have more cover in the likes of White and Molly too (although i guess he may be off) At least the left side of our team is wrapped up...now let's start on the right..

Great comments from him - i think it's taken from his interview after the hearts game. Im not surprised he's staying when he has a manager who can identify his ability. Wotte and JP completely screwed him up, if managed properlly he would have been absolutely brilliant - but we only got 3 games out of him because they had no idea how to manage/motivate him.
