  1. We're going to draw the half!
  2. He didn't look like he's bothered tonight.
  3. I'd re-sign Ollie Lancashire in place of Bednarek at the moment. The blokes gone.
  4. Bob, from the kitchen. Mary, who is the cleaner at St Mary's. Jeff is apparently quite handy in goal when he's not cutting the grass.
  5. Totally different level to be honest. Although, granted, the 11 tonight would struggle against most U18 teams.
  6. I think you're broken.
  7. Doesn't want to be here. His body language sucks. Get as much as we can for him, Vestergaard, possibly JWP, and then rebuild the spine of this team with players who have a spine.
  8. Maybe all along, we actually are missing Eric Black?
  9. Purple patch, but generally a pretty awful player tbh.
  10. Spurs want Vestergaard? Go for it. We need a rebuild in every position.
  11. That's being polite. It's like a lower league team against a higher league team. We're not the higher league team.
  12. That's the sort of 45 mins that would warrant refunds if there were fans present. abhorrent We seem like the next Charlton/Palace. Start a season strongly, rack the points up, get safe, then just drift around for months. Charlton did it in the early 00's, Palace have done it in the 10's. Maybe we'll be the team to do it next? Fun times ahead, can't wait.
  13. I think he's bored with football tbh, he needs to retire really and stick to golf. He's lost every inch of interest in the sport, you can tell.
  14. Kane and Son would be mental to stay there, they need to get out and fulfil their careers. Spurs will just add further plodders like Hojbjerg to complete their regression to Arsenal levels.
  15. From where Spurs were under Poch, they are light years away now. I never understood why they got rid of him. Mourinho has had his day and he needs to stop fooling clubs that he has any relevance anymore.
  16. I think a lot can be put on the quality of player, and the depth of that quality throughout all the age groups tbh. Ideally there needs to be an admission that there isn't enough quality, so there needs to be investment at all levels. Sadly, that won't happen so as a club it feels as if we could be staring at a difficult future.
  17. Wouldn't say Perez or Choudhury are first choice - squad/bench players. Barnes did his ACL I think, he's out for a long, long time.
  18. Well, that's the bottom 3 confirmed IMO.
  19. Sigh. What a disaster of a season for these levels. Wonder what the grand plan is for next year? As this is beyond bad.
  20. If Newcastle hold on here, Fulham are pretty much gone. Shame, it would have made the end of the season interesting. I'd say this all but confirms West Brom as well - nothing much to play for on Monday if it stays like this.
  21. Like you said, my worry is that we'll be hand tied with the work permit stuff. <£10m players will probably be deemed 'not important enough' to meet the criteria from EU countries, which could cause a huge problem for us. South America could be an option. I don't believe we have no scouting networks in place, the club will be fully aware of South America players I'm pretty sure. Those sorts obviously come with their own pitfalls though! Attractiveness and wage offerings will be the big thing this year, as I'm sure other clubs in our 'arena' will be shopping with the same mindset
  22. I try to forget that game tbh. Still think we're due some the other way after that.
  23. They've been very fortunate with 'technology'. I seem to remember that they'd have been relegated, had that 'goal' been given that Sheffield United scored.
  24. Good effort by Leeds that. A very huff and puff performance by Man City, they didn't really create anything of note. They just kept the ball a lot. I'd only call it daylight robbery if City were creating chance after chance, hitting the bar, and then the oppo nick one on the break. But City didn't really create anything.
