  1. He didn't get sent off, so we weren't in trouble. He made a mistake, which people have pointed out. it doesn't warrant us changing the GK though as people are moronically suggesting. Who is Arthur?
  2. 'A Tad' harsh?' and there's absolutely no mileage in what he says what so ever.
  3. Pretty sure this is said in jest, can't imagine anyone in the world would be that dim. I said at the time, a player who will frustrate and delight in equal measure. With players like Mane, you need to accept days like y/day. They will happen.
  4. Why do you want to make yourself look like a bit of an idiot? You were once an intelligent poster with respected views. You did a pretty good effort to ruin that perception during the summer, and now you're at it again. It just seems as if you, and a few others, are in the background just poised to shout...''I told you so''.
  5. As I've always said, one of the first names on the team sheet.
  6. 3 weeks, should be back for the xmas gmaes.
  7. It seems pretty inevitable for Villa's 5th choice CB, and according to their fans, an ''atrocious player of L1 standard'' to be MOTM. This game was never going to be a win with all the contrasting stats, football is never that cut and dry.
  8. He went for it, but it didn't quite work. Not sure you can have a go at him for going for it. And, tell me oh wise one, what would Cork have provided us when we were chasing the game? Cheers.
  9. Dominated the game, but it was dead. Does anyone know what I mean? Nothing really happened at all. If I was a Neutral I'd be asking Sky for my Sky Sports sub back after that! Good point in the circumstances, but based on how we've been this season that was trash heap standard. Not sure what was up with us, very odd display in many area's. We've got to be much better than that or we will get a bit of a wakeup call in the next 3.
  10. Ah yes, because Boruc never made mistakes. Never.
  11. Bit of a non-game. No atmosphere, neither side have really turned up. It's just dead. What a dross game of football!
  12. Gerrard was a top quality player, one of my favourites, but I cringe watching him these days. It's so sad to watch as he's so ineffective and is an accident waiting to happen in the position he's in. It's all about sentiment for the Liverpool lot, but I honestly think the continuing perseverance of Gerrard will hold them back. It's about them as a club being stronger than the individual, but we all know what will happen. A club who live in the past.
  13. Gaston's experience of English football has been nothing short of a nightmare tbh.
  14. Liverpool are so laughably bad. That first half has been a great big WTF performance. What is their game plan?
  15. Would fully expect them to make a go of that, and would have fully expected Lallana to be lapping it up to his former team mate too.
  16. Liverpool's full back situation is a bit of a mess, why on earth does Johnson still play? Worst RB in the league by far.
  17. A spurs loss with MP blaming the size of the pitch, and a Liverpool loss with another Lovren howler would be ideal. To be honest, both tricky away's for them. Won't be a nailed 3 points by any means.
  18. Same old arsenal. Pass, pass, pass, backwards, sideways, pass, pass, sideways, backwards. Never actually doing anything penetrative with the ball. All their own making.
  19. Lallana should really keep quiet, he always comes out with the most rubbish I've ever heard.
  20. I think it's called the Staplewood Campus. The main pavilion building is named after Markus.
  21. This thread is pretty resounding then....
  22. oh christ, please don't let this happen. They are a mickey mouse sport broadcaster. Sky's coverage of the Scotland game was much better.
  23. Paper-thin is too strong a term to describe our squad. But it raises good points and I think most will agree with the reasoning.
  24. Yeah, I think at the time we were linked he was at Torino? (seen as a key player for them). And Arsenal did seem favourites at some points. Not sure why he's had little impact at A.Madrid, but it's clear that there's an interest from us. If he's available, why not? I assume we'll be speaking to A.Madrid a bit in January anyway!
