  1. Yeah, he looks handy. But Inter aren't anything special these days, just a mid-table Serie A team. Miles off anything.
  2. It was mentioned earlier that the Juve staff are not happy with his fitness situation, so are putting him through extra sessions before he even features.
  3. The transfer of Osvaldo? "We wanted to seize those opportunities that were conjugation of technical and economic advantages, free loan and the player has drastically reduced salary. The right of full transfer set in 19 million is quite uncertain, we want to evaluate how he will adapt to the environment then we will see if we have the time and interest to acquire the player. The goal was to raise competition in the squad. This was an opportunity that we should not lose Sounds like they have absolutely no intention of keeping him for good, well not at that price at least.
  4. jeez, I can almost relate to all of those. Wasn't a teenager in the 90's, but all of those were still pretty big parts of my childhood! Sega Park was awesome!
  5. 1-1, gifted goal. Toure is their weaklink without a doubt. Horrendous defender these days.
  6. 'Sundays other games' now I guess. But Liverpool are beating WBA in probably the most silent stadium I've ever heard.
  7. Always felt he was carrying an injury since his last england call-up tbh.
  8. Shock horror... http://www.football-italia.net/44701/conte-orders-osvaldo-regime I give them 2-3 weeks to suss out that he's not worth £14m. There's no way they'll sign him.
  9. ''We're all absolutely loving working under such a world class manager....'' Does make you wonder just how many would start to leave if MP did go in the summer.
  10. Would be a silly signing for them. they still have Cech, and also Courtois will be back next year - one of the finest young keepers in the world.
  11. We've been looking at him apparently, as a replacement for Boruc. Didn't realise he's only just turned 26 either.
  12. It's not, but never mind.
  13. wtf @ arsenal by the way? They signed Kim Kalsltrom to cover injuries, but discovered he himself was injured during the medical - yet still signed him They've now announced that he's out for 6-8 weeks. Seriously, what the actual ****?
  14. Apparently Cork wasn't 100% to start the match.
  15. Totally agree, he has been unbelievably good this year. Looks such a good player. Makes it even more satisfying to know that he's come all the way with us. For all you can say about Pard's, we have to say thanks for bringing in Jose and Lambo.
  16. Also a note for Chambers, who I think is utter class. Won't go to this world cup, but will be an England international in time.

    Wanyama

I thought it was quite odd that he was thrown straight in, but apparently Corky wasn't 100%, so that's fair. But he was rusty, gave the ball away a hell of a lot....but Morgan was worse in that first half! Cork is so class though, as soon as he came on in that 2nd half we got to grips with that midfield and passed our way around them. I'd love to find a way to accommodate Wanyama, Morgan, Cork and Davis in the same midfield...but with our set-up, that's not possible...so there will be some touhg decisions from time to time. But Wanyama is class, during the first half of the season he was one of our better players and in some games was utterly unplayable. This is easily the best midfield we've had in my lifetime.
  18. Stoke will be a tougher test than Fulham who are, let's be honest, utter turd. Will be nice to start clocking up the home wins again though. Today's results have made the top half of the league quite interesting, Newcastle are now pretty catchable - seeing as we have to play them at home ourselves.
  19. It's obviously a very horrible backtrack. I reckon the new owners wanted him gone, said as much, saw the reaction and the poor PR and thought...let's reverse that choice! It's not like it was a rumour either, Mcdermott was told and told the players yesterday afternoon!
  20. We're an excellent possession team, but can sometimes lack a bit of clinical punch in and around the box. You'd have to say that if we had someone with the attributes of Klose or Silva in the side, we'd be simply unstoppable.
  21. Lambert going depends on his and Carrolls form in the 2nd half of the season. and it doesn't exactly help Carroll given the fact he is now suspended for 3/4 matches. I think Lallana is a shoe in, there's no way he won't go. The only debate up to the summer will be whether he starts or not.
  22. Just imagine in a few years.... Lallana, JWP, Wiltshire in CM. Rodriguez playing from the wide area's. Shaw and Clyne as full backs. It's not as far fetched as it sounds.
  23. They're the stations that merged/took over Aljazera sport. would recommend people trying to sign up to offsidestreams. Our match is always available in HD every week.
  24. You will never, ever, ever see £1m spent as well again.
  25. Walks into the team, he's as good as Hazzard, Silva in terms of the manipulation of the ball. If we want to have a team anywhere near Spain, you need a player like him starting.
