  1. Great move, great quality.
  2. Shaw gets 2 out of jail with that cover.
  3. Getting it down, moving it around, controlling the play - and we get chances. If we keep hitting it long, it will not happen for us.
  4. That was a wate, great break.
  5. That they are looking better than us. That's slightly different than being all over us. But it's a little tight at the mo, not much in it.
  6. It's all a little too long and rushed by us, no quality in our attack thus far.
  7. They're not all over us.
  8. Both teams look the same, to be expected really.
  9. Villa have started causing us problems. Corner to them.
  10. Shakey start by Clyne.
  11. Well, what are we supposed to do? Name 5 subs?
  12. Because he isn't actually been as bad as some of the worriers have been suggesting.
  13. Build up to the Chelsea game?
  14. A real blow for Guly, just as he was starting to find some form. That bench is pathetically bad though, we have to hope that 11 do the job.
  15. Lambert isn't a poor manager what so ever. He's just taken the wrong move, he saw more potential at Villa than Norwich - but that's not paying off at the mo..
  16. Nah, not at all to be honest. Looking at our up-coming fixtures, this really needs to be a 3 points. We couldn't really be playing Villa at a better time either. Injuries to all of their exprienced players, on the back of horrible defeats and a humbling to lower league opposition. They are rock bottom at the moment and we have to make the most of this chance. We're missing players, yep, but we should still have more than enough in our attack to cause their defense problems. If we don't, then I'd start to be very worried. We need to start winning more away games, and this has to be one we target as a win. Wigan went there, retained the ball and picked them off. We can do the same.
  17. He's a talent, but has had to make some adjusting to life at this level, but for anyone wondering about his ability and quality to play at this level then just re-watch his goal against Chelsea. It was pure class. The run off the shoulder of the CB, the first touch which killed it and took him into goal, and the deft little flicked finish to take it into the back of the net. If RvP had scored that people would be raving. He is an incredibly gifted player in my eyes, but his chances have been limited mainly due to the fact we seemed to enjoy employing him out of position. I think he's looked very effective through the middle in recent weeks, both from the start and as a sub.
  18. He probably isn't, but he's played like it this year. Probably being brought down to the level of those around him.
  19. Newcastle are in complete meltdown. They're in the mix, no doubt about it.
  20. So, that'll be the inexperienced back 4 of Joe Bennett - Nathan Baker - Cerian Clark and Lowton against us. We have to work that back 4, simple as that. No matter of training will make that back 4 better, it is just lower league rubbish.
  21. We have been seriously unlucky this year in terms of injuries, and who has had them. We've lost massive players for long periods - Lallana, Ramirez, now Fonte, Clyne.....(but should be back soon), Cork etc.. you couldn't pick a worst bunch to be injured, as we have no depth below them.
  22. very positive news. To the best of my knowledge he can't sign a professional long-term contract until the summer, but it seems to me that everything has been agreed in principle it's just a case of him signing on the dotted line when he turns 18. Goodbye Wenger.
  23. People will say that we can't defend etc, but throughout the season we've always had a decent set up - at the start we were just a little gung ho, and many of the goals we conceded were from individual errors, slips, OG's etc. Gary Neville brought it up a few months back, paused it before a goal we conceded and said our set up was fine...it was just a slip which caused the goal. Happened a few other occasions as well. We've cut that out, players have adjusted, and we still have a decent defensive setup through the whole side, which now shows with a little tweaking. Villa, generally, don't. They just don't work or defend as a team anywhere, that's the difference in my book.
  24. Bradford City have now beaten more Premier League teams so far this season than QPR. great stat...
