Is being at 2-1 now seen as unacceptale then? Please, revise your expectations of this team and the players we have. We're a good side, but Man Utd won't have to play amazingly to beat us. That's football. I've seen better sides play a lot worse at OT, that's for sure. Let's see what the 2H brings.

We're competing to be honest. Man Utd were always going to be better than us, so not sure why people are having meltdowns at the fact that they look better than us. If they switch off 2nd half, we still have a chance. But we'd need them to switch off.

Some of the comments on here beggar belief. What in gods name do people expect from this team? There are some games that are far and beyond us. This should be one of them, but are we doing badly? No.

I think they'll struggle whoever they have as manager. Their squad is just not good enough Players like Bannan, Baker, Westwood, Lowton, Bennett - shouldn't be playing PL football. But they seem to equate to Villa's spine, which is why they're so screwed.
