  1. What the actual ****. Nice one.
  2. He hasn't been given sufficient backing. Improved us massively and immediately but to continue that with the paltry additions we've given him is a tough ask to say the least. Attack, Midfield and Defence all needed strengthening majorly. Attack - Adams is struggling (quite badly), Djenpo (sp) looks handy. Defence - Needed a dominant centre back, got Danso who is playing at left back. Midfield - Nothing. In fact weaker due to Lemina likely going.
  3. This is poor
  4. You obviously did make the comparison, and you are clearly wrong if you think this goon was/is better and has contributed more than the 3 players you chose to compare him with.
  5. Yeah, er, and some good crosses and passes. Value for money right there.
  6. Yes! Never really saw a lot of him but at least he scored once.
  7. It's all about opinions and Fox was, of course, shyte. Elyounoussi worse for me (I must've missed the games where he crossed and passed the ball well) and certainly worse than Hoedt or Carillo.
  8. Said it before will say it again, comfortably the worst player to 'play' for us since we came back up. Hopelessly, comprehensively, out of his depth.
  9. Another beauty in there from Long!
  10. That was ****ing incredible. Botham got me into cricket with that legendary innings against Oz back in the early 80's. That topped it. Ben Stokes you utter legend.
  11. FMOB I thought we were feckin' dreadful for the vast majority of that. Bossed by a team with 1 less man than us for most of it. Thought Hojberg was especially 1 star losing possession time and again when he was favorite to retain it. Adams and Ings both cr@p and if they are the vanguard to this much talked about about but yet to be seen spring into attack after absorbing pressure and then winning the ball style then they either need to ****in sort themselves out or **** off, because they couldn't manage it against one of the league's weaker teams who were down to 10 men. Thought Boufal took advantage in the way they should have been doing when he came on, and Redmond was busy and skilful throughout. Defence completely rode their luck and will get murdered against better teams, especially ones without a player sent off. Obviously happy about the win and 3 points but that game raised far more worries than in dispelled. Sorry to sound negative after a win, but it did.
  12. How shyte has Hojberg been.
  13. McBurnie. Sounds like McDonald's answer to a Flame Grilled Whopper.
  14. FFS we've scored so great - but we still look like the weaker side against 10 men. Jesus, take control.
  15. Hmmm 4-2-2-2. Against 10 men. Where's these lightning quick breaks when we win possession?
  16. Nice one VAR always said it was perfect for football. In other news we look really, really sh!t.
  17. Dirty dirty b'stard. Knew exactly what he was doing there.
  18. Haha avoidance of awkwardness does have it's price but I wouldn't go as far as paying for someone else's fuel. If someone short changes me by 10p and I only realise as I'm walking out I wouldn't bother going back to complain as by that point the 10p has become a fee worth paying to avoid the awkwardness. Not sure where the threshold lies in that situation. Maybe £1.00 but I'd probably detect that amount at source.
  19. None of that tallies with the likes of brmbrm above wanting tickets, being on database, but being turned down.
  20. Buying something at a petrol station, (packet of crisps, chocolate bar whatever) when you haven't bought any petrol, making it clear you haven't bought any petrol by pointedly saying "just this, thanks" and being asked "any fuel?".
  21. It's disgusting. Lying, then admitting it once aim achieved. The best you can hope for from a politician these days is to be honest and useless. Dishonest and useless is the standard though.
  22. To be fair (and I speak as someone who just wished none of this had ever happened, and we we just remained as the feck we were) Osbourne quite clearly said there would need to be an emergency budget if we voted out. We did. There wasn’t any need. On the flip side I genuinely think the equally disingenuous £350m a week or whatever it was being poured immediately into the NHS is what tipped the balance in favour of leave. Conclusion - the people charged with running our country are a bunch of self-serving, untrustworthy, lying c.u.n.t.s
  23. The grammatically incorrect and seemingly increasingly common insertion of the word “what” into sentences that have worked perfectly well for centuries without it. “Like what we have” “Like what they did”. NO! “Like we have” “Like they did” FFS.
  24. A fair enough clarification. Regardless of priorities though it's just a relief to see him look better and do more in 20 odd minutes than Elyounoussi (sp) in the whole of last season.
  25. That is a really good question. I mean, like, really good. Why sign any player if he is not going to immediately go into and improve the starting XI?
