Looked like he'd just been booted in the shin. You have to worry this lad is a bit too injury prone when getting up of his seat is too much to cope with.

Agree with all this (except maybe with Faz being a tool, seems alright to me). We are frighteningly under resourced in midfield, end of.

Every little helps as they say but I doubt we are getting anywhere near 50% of their wages off the bill. I'd say maybe 20% max.

Got to be happy with a point in the circumstances. We've picked up 4 points in 2 games without playing well which augers well for if and when we do start to perform. Still loads of issues, particularly Ings and Adams who look static and unthreatening.

While we’re on points irrelevant to the debate - you know, the one about players who have played for us in the Premier League and how well they have played for us in the Premier League - how about Elyounoussi’s goals and assist stats before he joined us?

He hasn't been given sufficient backing. Improved us massively and immediately but to continue that with the paltry additions we've given him is a tough ask to say the least. Attack, Midfield and Defence all needed strengthening majorly. Attack - Adams is struggling (quite badly), Djenpo (sp) looks handy. Defence - Needed a dominant centre back, got Danso who is playing at left back. Midfield - Nothing. In fact weaker due to Lemina likely going.

You obviously did make the comparison, and you are clearly wrong if you think this goon was/is better and has contributed more than the 3 players you chose to compare him with.

Yeah, er, and some good crosses and passes. Value for money right there.
