After that Cardiff **** up I really began to think we had Hoedt Plus on our hands but he's improved immeasurably over the last few games. Seems particularly suited to the 3 CB formation where his obvious lack of pace doesn't get exposed so much.

Armstrong wasn't particularly great but 4 "awful" is clearly stretching it. Easily a 6. Otherwise decent summary 9/10.

Indeed, if the business model is working those players have been/are being sold for big profits and we’re all left complaining about the loss of yet another good player. Buy potential and sell for big profit after potential is realised has become buy potential then loan out to anyone who’ll pay something towards his wages after potential is not realised. (Carrillo doesn’t quite fit either scenario due to absence of potential).
