Forster used to have the same inability to get down to shots on his left, or was it his right I can’t remember. I can however remember that he made good saves sometimes and had the odd utter worldy game in him (usually against Arsenal). I can think of TWO saves Baz has made this season that made me think ‘Nice one Baz, good save’. The West Brom one and I think the other one was Preston where he kicked it off the line and everyone chest bumped him. It’s just so fucking poor.

Agree. He’s a massive Achilles heel unfortunately.

It’s virtually like having an outfield player in goal with him in there. His distribution is generally very good, his ability to make saves is beyond 1 star. I actually cannot believe he’s employed as a goalkeeper given how poor he is at the second bit.

Prepared to bet A LOT of money that neither of those lessons have been learned.

What annoys me more than anything - even his hair - about Martin is his insistence that he’ll keep on playing the same old way whatever happens like it’s something to be proud of. It’s nothing to be proud of whatsoever and is tantamount to an in plain site admission that he is a poor manager.

Generally agree but I don’t see that first one as a “what a save” moment if he’d saved it. He’s way too easily beaten there.
