Yep. If we’re being honest a draw was a fair result. Obviously gutting though, back to that familiar last minute goal against in the Prem feeling! There were positives, Fernandes, Dibling obviously, Ramsdale, others looking like they are growing into it at this level (THB, Downes), Sugawara looks like he belongs here, Stewart (in the bits I saw between fucking glitching streams) looked kind of capable(?), Archer at least had some decent chances and was a tad unlucky, esp for the first. To temper all that this is Ipswich at home, literally our most winnable fixture and it was a right old struggle.

Yeah but none of those 9 goals would’ve been scored during the 70% of the match in which we had the ball so our tactics would’ve been proven to have worked for the significant majority of the match. Definitely on the right path here.

Just don’t get it. Even if we’re determined to get rid wouldn’t it make sense to play him esp in games like this to put him back in the shop window? That’s before you take into consideration he’s transparently obviously better than at leat some of those being played in preference.

Just seen the highlights and fuck me that could very easily have been 6 or 7 nil and one of Utd’s ‘should’ve scored’ moments (a bad Zirkzee miss) was during the best half an hour of football we’ve managed this season. 2 of the goals were down to basic rank bad organisation. Stephens for the first - get the fuck out with the rest of the defence. THB for the third ditto but even worse if anything, 3 or 4m behind the rest of them playing their man on. Really really poor I’m afraid, and basic stuff. As for us 2 chances, a hopeless pen from someone who shouldn’t have been taking it (and looked like he very much knew that), and a well crafted effort from a 18 year old rookie who is proving to be our standout attacking force. Carry on like this and we’ve got some humiliating batterings coming our way.
