  1. WTF are you chattin' re?
  2. You would certainly hope so. The idea of him turning out to be as bad or worse than Djenepo, Ely, Walcott and Redmond is more than a little frightening. Would love another one better than that lot and 2 of them out. Hobson's choice but I think I'd go with Walcott and Djenepo to go. Just.
  3. Agreed. Not that I'm comparing them in terms of quality, but that Silva fella is still doing alright for Chelsea at 37 (38 in a few weeks). Whilst I like the principle of buying all these youngsters with (hopefully) huge sell on potential, surely the odd relatively low cost experienced head would be a sensible policy.
  4. I’d be tempted to have a conversation at least if they offered £149M plus AwB. We could then hopefully get AwB back on form by offering him an arm round the shoulder (he likes that, apparently, not the hair dryer treatment he’s rumoured to have been copping for from Solsjaer (sp) and whoever that Dutch bloke was they had in charge afterwards). That way we effectively replace KWP for nothing and have £149M spare to improve the squad in other areas.
  5. In comparison to our other attacking midfielders then yes he absolutely is all that.
  6. Had never heard of him before this thread was created. GET IN!!!!
  7. Add Hudson Odoi in and Redmond out and you have a Carlsberg window.
  8. Nothing, they'll just wave. Anyway, it's pretty goddamn hideous.
  9. Both hideous.
  10. You'll win nothing with kids. I'll rephrase that. We'll win nothing with kids. I'll rephrase that. We'll win nothing.
  11. Sincerely hope this isn't correct, if it is we're going down.
  12. Agreed. Only acceptable use of the word in this context involves going to a Cheeky Girls concert.
  13. Safe lol, with Adams and Armstrong as our only recognised strikers……
  14. Bednarek and Stephens leave plenty of space for a striker tbf.
  15. Agreed. Also there is a far less expensive and simpler way of bringing your avatar up to date than relying on us to resign Danny Ings. Get your fiver out pal. 😃
  16. Because they get fed up with the player in question being 'eyed' by the potential buying club.
  17. Believe me Fry I’m suggesting nothing of the sort. I thought you ‘got’ irony obvs not nightynight 😀
  18. Good stats and, intriguingly, 9.5 games x 4 = 38 games ie an entire Premier League season. He scored 4 goals in 9.5 games for us so on that basis he scores 16 goals in a full 38 game Premier League season if allowed to play all 90 minutes of every game. 16 goals this season would put him level with Sadio Mane as joint 5th top goalscorer in this years Prem just the one goal behind Harry Kane in 4th. And we sold him to Swansea for a cupla mil........
  19. Well now, let's see based on the available evidence............... He played 32 games for us in total in the Premier League. He scored 4 goals in those games. Based on that I reckon he'd score about 4 goals a season if he played 30/35 games a season.
  20. MLG you are playing a rare blinder tonight.
  21. Why the hell does who we sell him to have any reflection whatsoever on our ambitions as a club?
  22. Totally. Nice guy and all that but ffs ENOUGH.
  23. It's so boring I've turned over to Springwatch.

    Lee Todd

He did go to Spurs and I'm prepared to bet a lot of money he scored against us for them in a game that ended 3-2 probably the following season. Memory fails me if we beat them or they beat us, probably the latter, we were at home (I think).
